Abbott's has the best frozen custard in the US (I have only left the country to visit Niagara Falls but never ate any custard). Their pineapple pistachio flavor is out of this World! They have a great selection of flavors everyday. They also sell pints of ice cream. If you don't feel like going into the store, stop by the Latta Rd Abbott's across from Wegman's Long Pond and Latta.

Their "pup cups" are just a tiny scoop of vanilla ice cream..they said they didn't have any dog treats so they put a little dollop of whipped cream on top. For the same $2, I can get 1 at The Creamery and it comes with the treat AND peanut butter. The only reason we didn't go there was because The Creamery is only open Thurs.-sun. for some reason. Abbott's is obviously a "classic" for most people but their sizes are also super tiny compared to any other ice cream place.

What can I say that others know. Abbott's Frozen Custard, Has Top of the Line Deserts. From a ice cream cone to a banana spilt. And Soft or Hard ice cream to choose from, and if that is not enough for those who enjoy pumpkin spice they have that to but only during the fall and not sure for how long.
Clean & staff was extremely patient. I had 2 grands with me. Most importantly, the Custard was delicious ?

Very good custard, prices are very acceptable. Just make sure you check the sizes before you order, since they aren't shown anywhere, and the sizes are MASSIVE. A mini fills what looks like a 12oz cup.

I visited the Hamlin Abbott, walking there with my two grandchildren and my 15 year old small dog. First i was greeted with a rather unfriendly young lady who advised me that dogs were not allowed unless they were service dogs. I certainly understand that, and although my pup is a service dog, I did not have her vest on because it was too warm for her. I leashed her outside so I could proceed to order for my grandchildren…baby cones for both with assorted sprinkles. Was told one couldn’t be in a cone but the other one could. Huh? No explanation just that’s the way it is. It’s rather disappointing to be treated in that manner. We recently moved to Hilton and have been treated by everyone so kindly until this experience. I typically only post positive reviews so It’s rather unfortunate that I feel it necessary to post this one, however, I don’t expect this treatment from any service based business especially Abbotts. We have always been treated with kindness and respect by previous Abbotts establishments and I have to say I was somewhat surprised by this one. It is unlikely I will recommend the Hilton Abbotts to anyone. In fact, I will very likely recommend the other various ice cream establishments that have opened in and around Hilton, NY. They seem to be much more customer service oriented.

It’s was good quick a lot of choices. Love that it is in the town of Hilton near the hilton high school. It’s affordable. But If you don’t have Google maps it’s hard to find

There is no better way to end a summer day in Hilton, New York, than a stop to Abbott's Frozen Custard. Always delicious. I would definitely go for the Mocha Shake.
