Malarkey's version of the garbage plate is very good. In particular the Mac salad is creamy and delicious. One plate can be enough for two. The problem we have had is getting a serving of the meat-hot sauce; first time, no meat-hot sauce given. Second time, we paid for extra meat-hot sauce. Still no meat-hot sauce given. I understand ground beef is expensive, but don't promise something and then omit it... twice.

WoWzer!!! Malarkey's in Hilton, NY is Delicious!! Burgers, Hots, Finger food and GARBAGE PLATES. I've been on the hunt for an equal if not better plate than Jimmy Z's Plates & Shakes that closed over a year ago. I have Found his equal! This joint is WoW, sooooo good! They just gained a customer. Wow, I stopped for lunch based on the reviews, and wasn't disappointed. I haven't had a garbage plate in years, and really happy this is the place I stopped to have one. Tasty cheeseburger plate, I couldn't finish it all, and already looking forward to having the rest for an afternoon snack. Id absolutely recommend it and plan to stop again when I'm working in Hilton again.

Very nice interior. Everything was super clean, the staff was friendly, and it was quiet enough to have a conversation.

Exceptional! Worth a trip into Hilton if you're craving a trash plate: it's delicious, well executed, a great value, and as others have mentioned... You'll probably need two sittings to finish. What I've had of the rest of the menu is great too, so check it out and if anything on there looks good to you... I think you'll enjoy it. This is a great small business worth supporting; the owner's obviously care. Also, very clean, great service, convenient and well packed if you do takeout, etc. Highly recommend!
