Great place for kids
A great place for children to play and socialize! Also good food! Excellent chicken wraps! Good coffee and nice place to see children interact! All star fives!
They “recently” changed their policy. Came with my 2, 4, 6 and 9 year old. We knew that my oldest couldn’t play in the play area, however in the past they’ve been allowed to physically walk into the play area and sit by mom and interact with their younger siblings. Now they won’t even physically allow them to enter the play space with mom. My 6 and 9 year old have to physically stay outside the barrier. Which I’m fine and planned on with my 9 year old, but I’m not comfortable with my 6 year old daughter. So now I have to choose between staying with my oldest outside of the play area and leave the littles within, or vice versa. This cafe is no longer larger family friendly. If you only have one or two kiddos close in age it will work well for you. Disappointing, and makes it so I can’t come alone with all my children anymore.
Edited to add: decided to stay outside of the play area with my 6 year old, and *shocker* the 2 year old who I payed to play doesn’t want that physical separation from mom and wouldn’t play inside the area after all.
In response to owners response: It seems like you didn’t actually read my review or intend to understand it. It is not developmentally appropriate for my 2 year old to be in the play space separate from mom, and it is a safety concern for my 6 year old daughter to be physically separated from me outside of the play space. Awful things happen in this world quietly and quickly. There are multiple exit points and no safety measure for children that may be outside of the enclosure. Therefore I’m (and any other mom in my position) forced to make a decision I’m not comfortable with either way in order to use this cafe alone. Sure I could come with another adult, but I thought the point of a place like this was to give moms a change of scenery on a normal day to day. We’ll just have to make the drive out to Ontario Play Cafe instead, they are a larger family friendly option.
Good coffee, friendly staff, great play space for the little ones.
Edit: I've always enjoyed coming, the last 2 visits have not been as friendly as they have been in the past.
Great place for adults and littles alike!! Delicious food and coffee and the play area was so much fun for my baby..will only become more fun as he gets a little older. Staff cleaned the toys frequently and were the sweetest. Highly recommend Mamaste!!
As a mom I feel so comfortable. Very cozy and fun place to take your toddlers. Food and drinks are great!
My kids, 1.5 and 2.5 years old, had a great time here playing with the other kids. They enjoyed all the toy options and climbing gym. The people, food and drinks were all really great.
I have got to say, i have been looking for a place to bring my child to that is moderately priced. Here is her number 1 pick. So originally i had my reservations. It seemed a little small, but my daughter absolutely loves it there. So many toys for her to play with and allows her to network with other kids. Its always clean and the staff are quite friendly. As for the food and drinks, they are top notch and pricing is great. I only wish there was one closer to me, or maybe i should move closer to them.
Kid-friendliness: This place is meant for you to bring your small children too. The play area might seem small but every child has a blast.

I’ve coffees are the best! And their bagels are freshly made! I literally haven’t ordered something from there and not LOVED it! Fresh veggies and smoothies! And they have a rewards system too!

Best coffee on the Westside. My husband laughs at how often I crave the food and coffee here, but it's seriously that good. Great people and a comfy place.

We’ve been here around 20 times in the past few years, and we love it. My little one will be so sad when she turns 6 and can’t play in the play area anymore - but I’m sure we will come back for the well crafted coffee & food. Highly recommend!

I drove 20 minutes to let my grandson play here and they were open for take-out only. What a disappointment for him.
My family and I are obsessed! We go weekly! Highly recommend 100%

Such a cute and fun place. Today was my first time visiting with my little guy. I forgot socks for myself and I was able to purchase a pair for cheap. The staff was very kind and ensured that the other children played with caution while my little guy was walking around. He was the youngest in the play area at the time.
