I'm from down south where some of the best BBQ pops up in unlikely places and this reminds me of that except I get the plate and it's always plenty for the money. Folks in person have always been pleasant. The interior could use some sprucing but I like it as is which is old delicatessen style but I'm biased.

Grew up eating here and loved it. I happened to be in the area so I made sure to stop. Kitchen was closed on Sunday, ordered a cold sub and went back home.They never put any cold cuts on my sandwich just lettuce, tomato, onion. I called them and was told there is nothing they can do unless I drove back out there (an hour away). Then they said they'd follow up Monday when a manager was on duty. Never heard back. Super disappointed with how the place has changed over the years. Such a bummer
