Doug & his staff handled a funeral for our family in March. The professionalism displayed was second to none. People don’t always see the many roles a funeral director must fill during times of grief. Doug did a great job whether he was coordinating the event, the large number of attendees or being a sounding board for angry family members. He understood the volume of love that would be present & worked to ensure specific traditions could take place. His communication was clear & concise, so there was nothing unexpected. We would recommend them to anyone. Thank you Doug & team!

By far the most disrespectful disgusting funeral home ever! My husbands brother passed away and they allowed his GIRLFRIEND to arrange all the services. At first they said they would communicate with us as someone in this establishment told us they would have to ask our brothers wife for ashes for his two year old son. My brother In law was never married or engaged. They never gave us ashes or would return the phone calls of my brother in laws sons MOM or My husbands phone calls when we called for a death certificate for ss for our nephew. I would give this place ZERO stars if possible. The funeral director even took my husbands number and has not called him since the services. He even allowed the GF to stand in front and my mother in law was kicked out of her own sons services and made to wait outside with everyone else before the services started. Absolutely disgusted with this funeral home and do not recommend to anyone.

Doug and staff were welcoming and friendly. They work with your budget but that's the last thing they are concerned about, honoring you and your loved ones wishes is first and foremost. I cannot thank them enough for all their help with my father, they did an amazing job. Our family will forever be grateful for their service at this difficult time.

Burger Funeral Home has handled many funerals for my family. The latest in August of 2021. I cannot tell you how wonderful, caring, and professional they are. They handled everything for us and I could not be more pleased.

A pillar of the community for decades, Mr. Burger has conducted most of my family's services during my lifetime. Throughout my childhood, he could greet everybody in the community by name, and show sincere regards for everyone's well being. This funeral home goes above and beyond during difficult times, even mediating family quarrels emphasizing the entire legacy of the departed. Mr. Burger's personal relationships with many allows him the knowledge of what the departed would smile upon while looking down on us.

They don't even deserve one star rating. I don't recommend Thomas Burger Funeral Home. They are very unprofessional. Jim claims to have been in the funeral business for years. You wouldn't know it by his unprofessional behavior. His so called boss Doug is no better. Doug and Jim have allowed a so called person change my Uncle's obituary. My uncle composed an obit when he paid for his funeral. The person in charge has been put on hold. As far as I'm concerned I don't feel we should continue with the plans for a military graveside service. My uncle doesn't need to be disgraced. I do recommend highly Derna Funeral Home on Culver Road. They are professional and go out of their way to see you a difficult time. Not only did Doug and staff make one of the most difficult times in my life easier , my husbands funeral, they continue to make the year following it better. I received remembrance thoughts and prayers just when I needed them most. Today is Valentine’s Day. They invited all of us that lost our husbands to a luncheon at Fosters, flowers and a keepsake gift. I met so many wonderful women today! Instead of being sad and feeling alone, I had a really nice Valentine’s Day! Thank you again

Three months after my father passed, and they never even attempted to schedule my father's service at the cemetary. I called repeatedly over several days before I could get anybody to call me back. I gave up waiting, and ended up doing the entire thing myself. I am disgusted knowing that I had to schedule my father's interment myself. I will NEVER use their services again.
