Stopped on the way back home from up north. Great salad, sandwiches and atmosphere. The dessert menu is great. Very clean bathrooms. Will definitely be back.

Cute small town restaurant and bakery with many gluten free options. Very hardworking owner who is very community minded. Interesting sandwich menu with lots of side options. Always has at least 2 soups of the day and other specials. Always trying different menu options to attract customers. Offers reasonable Sunday brunch with a huge selection. Prices very reasonable.
Vegetarian options: Some vegetarian options but lots of clearly labeled gluten-free options including baked goods..
The staff and food at Poppy's Place were very good and reasonably priced.

Saturday breakfast. We stop here occasionally when traveling through. No one else was here, so quick service. Blueberry waffle and French toast were good. Highly recommend

I ordered an omelette that came with home fries and toast. I asked if the home fries could be substituted. I was told no. I asked for a vegetable instead and was told no. But yet my niece order a grilled cheese with tomato. Don’t know why I couldn’t have a couple of slices of tomato. Definitely not a place to go if you are a diabetic. I don’t recommend this place at all!! Also the waitress was rude. Don’t know if it was the owner or not.

stopped in while passing through town from the adirondacks. she has some of the most creative pancake/waffle/french toast options I've ever seen on a breakfast menu and her paninis definitely dont disappoint. her tuna mac salad actually has real tuna opposed to canned. it's also super impressive watching the owner do everything between the kitchen, counter, and cleaning. definitely worth the stop!

Nice little restaurant. Impromptu stop passing through town. We picked up Orange Ginger Muffins which were really good. For breakfast, we tried the Pistacio Stuffed French Toast and Cranberry Apple Waffles (to go). They were delicious!

Delicious food in a friendly atmosphere. I had their signature waffle topped with chocolate and peanut butter and whipped cream, but there is a broad range of options. I look forward to another visit.
Kid-friendliness: The six year old in our party was so engrossed with the provided coloring book and crayons that we had to remind him to eat.
Parking: Parking is in the back as the front is an old storefront on the sidewalk.

Kid-friendliness: Brunch Buffet has lots of fruit options. Kids 5 and under are free, kids 10-5 are $10. So great when you know they are not going to eat much at the buffet but they want options.

I wanted to do a shout out to the owner. We walked in as a party of 8 in a big hurry at closing! She fixed us a table and single handed fed us and got us out with time to spare!
