Shaylee and I recently made a special trip to Zider Zee Restaurant after hearing rave reviews about their cinnamon roll French toast, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! The portions were enormous, and the flavors were out of this world.
The friendly service made our visit even better, and I absolutely loved the cozy, small diner vibe. Watching the chefs cook right behind the line, just like at a Waffle House, added to the charm of the experience.
The prices were very fair for the quality of food we received, and I saw so many other mouthwatering items on the menu that I can't wait to try. I guess I’ll just have to plan another visit soon! Highly recommend Zider Zee Restaurant for anyone looking for a delightful dining experience! 🍽️❤️

Coffee and meals were cold . Tasted good but cold and the coffee and refills were also cold especially considering the fact the prices of the meals.

It took a long time to get our food and waitress was not good at all. She ignored us and went to other tables before us. We asked for some things and it is like she forgot about us. We had to ask again. Wouldn’t go back there and don’t recommend this place

Our waitress was not attentive to us. Took care of other people before us. Did not come back to see if everything was ok. I need more coffee and had to ask twice for it, like she forgot about us. She brought bill to us and never asked if we wanted anything else, we did and ordered cinnamon Danish. Told me at the counter that I was rude, would not take of me. Had another person do it. The manager or owner needs to do something about this. It is not acceptable. They need to train their waitresses better.

We had to wait too long for our food. Waitress not good. She kept ignoring us for other people. We asked for napkins , ketchup and more coffee but had to wait and ask her again. Tried to joke with her and it didn’t work. The food was very good. She told my husband when he went to check out for another girl to take care of him as he was very rude. We always are polite with the staff but it didn’t work with her. Don’t think we will be going back there. Not sure what her problem was as she treated other people nicely.

Usually their food is great and low wait time. I took a cheesecake slice to go and when I got home an hour later I noticed the entire crust was moldy

Have been Stopping at The Zidder Zee when I'm in the area, since the mid 70's, we stopped on 10/19/24 & were very disappointed in the Service, we waited almost 45min. After ordering before we received our food & it was not very good.
My husband and I had 50 minutes before the arcade train so we thought we would stop to grab something to eat. We ordered simple breakfast items thinking it wouldn't take more than 10-15 minutes to get served. 45 minutes later we asked to pay for our drinks and cancel our order as there wouldn't have time to eat it now. We were told that our meal was almost done, they would put it in a take out box and brought us our bill. (Over $57) 10 minutes later she brings us our take out boxes. I look inside the boxes as my husband is rushing us to our destination... They got part of the order wrong and the food in one of the boxes looked as if they dropped the box on its side while bagging it. I couldn't tell you how the food tastes because we never got to eat it. We barely made the train and the food was crap after sitting in our car for over two hours.

We stopped here at random after a long day out of Canada. Kid's were crazy, tired and hungry. The server was patient and welcoming even with the wild animals at the table. The food was so good! We had a tuna melt, kid's breakfast slider and they made a breakfast sandwich with pancakes as the bun for my daughter!! We also shared the loaded fries. Everything was just what we needed to fuel us for the rest of our journey! Thanks all for having us!
