Checked in and the place was packed a very good sign. Menu selection was either all you can eat (AYE) or ala carte menu, we opted for the Ala carte menu. FYI if one ordered the AYE the entire table must do AYE. Ordered the combo with snow crab, lobster tail, shrimp, corn and potatoes. The seafood was fresh, plentiful, sauces were delicious. Generous portion and price was fair. Drinks were excellent as well. Many people eating the AYE and looked happy. Service was good, food was delicious check it out.

The Monster Crab location in Holtsville Long Island was a nicely lit restaurant. Upon entering my friend and I were greeted by a hostess with a smile . First let me say that it does not have that heavy seafood smell which was good . This place is large lots of tables with a large bar. There were a few birthday large group celebrations that Monday at another 6:30pm. The servers are all pleasant quickly to explain the menu the specials and the ordering process. The food came out at the perfect time allowing space between your appetizers and your main dish. The food was fresh, hot, nicely seasoned and cooked all the way through. For our appetizers We ordered soft shell crabs, fried shrimps , lobster roll, onion rings, fried calamari, fried wings which all came out on an extra platter and all sauces are put in individual cups for your dipping or pouring pleasure. Oh did I say we each ordered the All you can eat!!! Than, for our main meal we each had our own broil bags. Had snow crab legs (2) clusters, corn sausage and potatoes with the mild house seasoning. It was all delicious!!! And oh the $1.00 drinks yes it was $1.00 for soft drinks and certain cocktails I had a Sex on the Beach drink why ? Because I live on long island near the beach !! Dessert was a scoop of vanilla ice cream which was good and they brought us a shot i believe it was a house special not bad!! Over all I say for my first time it was great !! And I will return I think I will try the fried catfish or flounder. For a Monday night it was lively as many people had witnessed the solar eclipse earlier If you like fresh seafood friendly staff ( I did not get the feeling they were friendly because they had to I felt they were genuine) nice atmosphere with drinks than I recommend the Monster Crab Ka

Overall not too impressed with this place. The food was alright, I ordered the boil with king crab and it ended up being about $65, which I understand since it's the off season for crab, but regardless, it was not the best. The shells on the crab were too soft to crack, and the meat inside was chewy and lacked lots of flavor. It almost tasted as if it were fake. My husband ordered the scallops, and again they lacked flavor and were chewy. I did appreciate the extra towels and gloves given, but again, the taste of the food was the main part that disappointed. The decorations are great and very nautical. They were playing music in a language I couldn't understand, so that was confusing, but otherwise, it was a respectable 3 star experience. Would probably not come back again unless of an emergency.

We loved the place and atmosphere! But Good ? We ordered our food in garlic sauce (mild). Maaaan ? it was so so spicy. Way too much garlic we couldn't eat.

Went for happy hour. Delicious Lychee Martini. Had the lobster special, it was fabulous. It was made in a boil bag, and the seasoning was perfect.

Food is great but chinese waitressess were so unplesant and rude. And if you do not tip them they make it so obvious to express in all kinds of way like not even taking the orders properly and even brought seafood that had no legs and stuff. Felt so uneasy with our peers. Just make the tipping complimentary if you were gonna do that.
I came down from Florida to be with family. We had the best time, the waitress was amazing and the food was too. You know it's awesome when you forget about time and it flies by. We hope to be back soon!

Been here twice. Latest was Valentine’s Day service. All the staff seems proud to be serving and happy along with the customers. Food was on point and much tastier than other places we’ve been to. Our server Tommy went above and beyond without us even asking brought us waters and ice cream afterwards! Will be a staple for us.
