pricey. meats are a bit overcooked, dry. not much smoke. they are probably cooking at a higher temp to shorten cook times. take out so they don't have indoor and wait staff operating expenses, you would think the prices would reflect this. solid average

I have to score it a perfect 5.0. They exceeded all my expectations of what a Texas Barbecue should be. Ribs fell off the bone, pork and brisket were both smoked to perfection. For anyone driving on the Interstate Highway 81 and see the exit for HOMER, NY, keep an appetite. It’s a great place to get off, sit down and enjoy the best.

Stopped yesterday for the first time. Got the half chicken and 2 ribs with salt potatoes and coleslaw. It was great, chicken and ribs had good flavor and the service was perfect. Your a bit of a ride for me but I will be back, for sure.

Honestly years before have been great! But this year 2025 they have been terrible, there chicken flavorless, sauces are limited. Order a sandwich it comes with a sopping wet soggy bottom that u can’t bare to eat, service felt rushed. Disappointed as it use to be really good! If you want great bbq go to big dippers in apalachin ny!

Great place for barbecue! Delicious pulled pork sandwiches, fabulous macaroni salad, and perfect salt potatos! You place your order kind of cafateria style, except they get your food for you on the spot. Then take your food to one of the many picnic tables set among some beautiful landscaping & enjoy!

Had lunch here today and it was PHENOMENAL. I had the 1/2 chicken with two sides. Brought the rib dinner home for hubby. He totally enjoyed it. Service was excellent and the picnic area was super clean and we'll maintained. I HIGHLY recommend.

Very good charcoal bbq. Menu picture was from June 2025. Ribs, chicken, pork all excellent.
Had our 1st bbq from here for the season. Chicken was perfect, not dry at all, corn and potatoes we on the spot! We will be back
