My usual bakery was closed and I took a shot here. I ordered a week in advance and made a fairly simple request for cupcakes. It averaged out to over $3 per cupcake: a 1/2 puck of cake in a traditional paper liner. The other half was an icing concoction I've never experienced. (I do believe they did this for the order itself. Their other cupcakes may not use this recipe). It was like a mix of regular icing and fondant that was about 2 inches thick. They looked like full sized cupcakes, but they were 1/2 a bite of cake and a heaping glob of this weird icing. The kids wouldn't eat any of the topping. If I'd have known before walking out, I wouldn't have paid for them. Honestly, they looked a bit sloppy considering the expectations of profession. Cute enough, sure, but the sugar was already starting to melt when I picked them up- I was around 10 minutes within the set time for pick up and they went directly in the fridge at home. I can deal with ugly cupcakes but these were disappointing. *Pic to show the cake portion (after removing the icing) and compared to a regular sized plastic spoon/scoop of ice cream. Overall, I do not believe the pricing reflected the product. Not as far as cakes go, that is. This place is promoted as a chocolate shop and they may have quality there. Though, I will have to take your word on that. That said: The service was wonderful. All smiles, professional, and inviting. The establishment was cozy, cute, and clean. The cases were filled with beautiful goods that were displayed with care and keen eye to details. It's a lovely place.

Oh my, such an amazing cafe. So many delicious things to choose from. Today I choose the half moon cookies and the milk chocolate orange jelly candy. They were totally scrumptious. Highly recommend.

I stopped in on my way to a different nearby store and am very happy I did! The bakery smells amazing and I got the Oreo cheesecake - literally one of the best things I have ever eaten!!
We also got some halfmoons and a cinnamon bun to bring home and they were delicious as well. I will definitely be dropping in again next time I am in Homer!
Cute little bakery in Cortland NY. Picked up some cupcakes and cookies. Cupcakes were soft and moist on the inside. Full of flavor and the icing on the cupcakes was creamy and rich. Would recommend.

Great local candy shop, I bought a small selection and all of them were delicious. Staff person said chocolates made on site, which is pretty cool - no boxed from elsewhere. They even have a monthly box they put together and you are part of that 'club subscription.' Shop nice and very clean.
