One star for the iced tea.
I ordered the haddock, bad choice.
When it came out it was ice cold. I have a lot of haddock, and I've never had this experience before. I bit in, the breading was warm, but the dish itself was cold. So, I could tell it had been frozen.
Our server came over a few minutes later. I let her know that my fish was ice cold.
She took it back. 20 minutes later (an hour after I originally ordered), my fish came out again. This time the breading was burned and rock hard. I pulled the fish apart; the inside was burnt too. The haddock was brown.
I let my server know. By this point, I now had had ice cold fish and then burned fish. I don't know what they're doing in the kitchen over there, but this is not the place to get haddock.
On top of this, we heard good things about this place, drove an hour to get here and it definitely wasn't worth it. Save your money.
Food was good, service was decent nothing special, seemed like it was probably a great spot years ago and probably lost whatever made it great throughout the years.
It took almost 90 minutes for us to get our food after we ordered. That is with it not being particularly busy AND us having a reservation. Other patrons were receiving the same slow service and people looked visibly upset. Maybe we just caught them on a bad night but, oh man, over an hour wait for simple orders is absurd.
Nice little spot. The staff was friendly, however despite being not that crowded we waited well over an hour for our meal to arrive. I would not recommend the pizza here. I'll just leave it at that.
My wife and another couple went there the 4th of July weekend and they were really busy. We had a long wait and we enjoyed some drinks while we waited. Once we got to a table it was still a little bit of a wait but our server Amonda was very friendly and apologized several times but she was very polite and cheerful. I ordered the blackened salmon, my wife had a salad and the couple we went with each had the perch sandwiches. Everything was delicious and priced fairly.
Definitely will return.
Wait time was over an hour to be sat for a party of 8, once seated the waitress let us know that they were out of almost half the menu at 1:30 on a Sunday. This would have been awesome to know BEFORE we waited over an hour to be sat, since most of us were there for the seafood.
Food all came out at separate times, by the time the first person was done eating, our last person hadn’t got their food.
The bison burger was straight up raw in the middle.
Really disappointed with Glenhaven especially since the family was there to celebrate a birthday.
I understand that places have off days, but considering the price of the menu we were all super disappointed.
Burger was awesome, fries are delicious. You really can’t beat the view. This place is a hidden gem. 10/10 would recommend
Small very home town feel. Great service and friendly atmosphere.

We were quite cramped in the dining room with a broken down bowling game and a pool table in the middle of the room. Our server was so sweet and attentive. The bartender on the other hand was not very welcoming and cold even when we talked to her. They had a carafe of wine for $18 that they told us was 2 glasses of wine each glass was about 3 oz. We would have bought a bottle as that just did not add up. The food was great!

Bison burger was completely raw.
I asked for a re cook to go since we waited for 1.5 hours for our food. Went back home and the burger was just as raw.
Was told by the chef "since it's a lean meat it will bleed more" it was raw.....and I like medium rare.
Hush puppies were fried hollow shells on my wife's plate.
The hush puppies were good the ones I tried that had filling.
For 2 alcoholic beverages 2 burgers side of mac, and 1 appetizer it was 116$
Restaurant had a unique urine smell to it as well. I don't know if it's coming from the lake but you can smell it.
Parking not so great as well
Will not be going back.

We were hiking in the area (Hinchcliff Preserve) and wanted to find somewhere quick to grab a bite to eat. We were surprised to find this historic gem. It sits on a beautiful, peaceful stretch of land with a view of the very southern tip of Skaneateles Lake. All of the food was delicious: the wings were some of the best I've had, the hush puppies were drizzled with hot honey and butter, the bbq brisket was fantastic... everything is home made and it shows. Our server Wendy was great and made us feel at home. We will definitely be coming back.
Parking: Easy parking in one of two lots. One lot at the building itself and the other across the street at the marina.

Lowering score as the owner tried to discredit my experience I had with this establishment. AND they didn't even acknowledge the cigarette smoking on the deck. Very disappointing.
As I said in the review below (and in his review that I didn't know he posted), my husband's burger was entirely over cooked. It was not sent back because he was hungry and it's not the end of the world, and typically we are not the complaining type. Although we do expect such a "nice" restaurant to give us a burger the way we want it cooked.
I did eat about half the pasta. I had to pick out the cooked pieces to eat it. I can look past 1 or 2 pieces not being fully cooked as are all human and mistakes happen. I would have preferred al dente to what you served me. And for you to pick through it after we sent it back to find and eat a cooked piece, is very disgusting.
As for my husband and I trying to "sabotage" your score on Google, you are doing that to yourself with the way you handle your business and your review responses. Not sure what was inconsistent with my experience and my review. I was willing to go back and give you a second chance after your response to my husbands review, but now we will not be and I will not be making a more pleasant review.
Unfortunately our first time visiting will be our last. Our servers were fantastic, great interactions with them.
The food was incredibly over priced for the amount that you got. Appropriately sized proportions for sure, but certainly not worth the cost. My husband's burger for thoroughly over cooked and the amount of mac salad he received as a side dish was laughable. The burger was a hockey puck and the mac salad could fit in the palm of your hand.
The pasta that I got with my chicken alfredo was VERY under cooked. Like how do you mess up pasta? I could not finish half my meal because I got tired of the crunch. The alfredo sauce on it was delicious, so I'll give them that. It was an additional $7 for a thin cut of chicken on the pasta with alfredo. The chicken was cooked and seasoned well, but for $7? No way. My pasta meal came with 4 very small slices of "fresh" homemade bread. It was awful. Incredibly chewy and stiff bread. The server was kind enough to comp us half the cost of my meal.
The icing on the cake was the table next to us was smoking cigarettes and none of the staff said a word to them about it. Although we were outdoors on the covered porch, the smoke was getting blown into our faces and meals.
