Quick stop on our way through, got a turkey club and it was awesome. The sub rolls are amazing! Will definitely order from here again when visiting Honeye!

Top Shelf has been a staple for us for two years. Recently, their pizza has gone WAY downhill. The pizza dough seems different and less flavorful. The dough is too thin in the middle, too thick on the outside. The toppings look like they were thrown by the handful in the middle, contributing to a soggy center, and pieces that can't be picked up and eaten. We kept trying over the last few months, but in my book, this means three strikes, and you're out.

We were staying down the road at an AIRBNB for a weekend and were told to get pizza from top shelf it's the best in the area, which we were hoping was true. I ordered a large cheese, pepperoni and hot pepper pizza which was moderately priced., on Sept 23rd at 7:30 p.m. There was a girl cooking the pizza's and it smelled great when I walked into get my pizza. It was not ready so I of course waited. I asked for my crust to be well done. When it was ready she handed me the box which was pretty heavy. I got back to the house and we dove in as we were starved, we both like thin crust but I myself like the thicker crust as I like to dip it in Frank's hot sauce. The crust was super thick, it was golden brown but when my husband cut the crust closer to the outside edge the dough in the middle was still a bit wet and raw, big disappointment as it smelled so good when I walked in. The inner pat of the pizza was cooked enough as the crust was much thinner in towards the middle. I did not feel like driving all the way back and I did not call to complain as we are from out of town and if he had offered me a coupon to use at another time we live over 2 hours away. I ended up putting the pizza in the oven to finish baking the crust so it was edible. If the girl cooking wasn't sure if it was done, I would rather have it a bit over cooked than under cooked. I was so looking forward to trying it but what a bummer !!!! Make sure you ask for it well done, the subs and wings looked good though.
