Plated Modern American Bistro

We went there many, many times over the years, but moved out of state in 2018. EVERY trip back we stop in for Mikes Famous chicken parm. Sadly, this is the first time it changed, the sauce is now spicy! We were all so disappointed in our long time favorite in our home town in NY. I think anyone who enjoys a spicy sauce will still like the chicken parm, but not for us who expected the original Mike’s Famous recipe. Also salad used to come with the meal but is no longer included.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. They ran out of french onion soup and the owner lady was incredibly rude when I went to see a show. Constantly badgering us to take chairs we were holding for our friends that were coming 10 minutes later. The band was incredible and the only reason I would ever step foot in there again. Too bad the owner cancelled on them last minute though. Dumb business decision in their part

Nice wholesome food that hits your tummy just right every time. Been here over the past 15 years with friends and family and have not had a bad experience ever. On my last visit I had their arugula pizza that was delicious paired with a nice frosty grass of moscato!

Very warm, comfortable restaurant with really good food. A family operation. You
can feel the good family vibes. We had a delicious salmon and also a terrific lemon chickdn

Had the graveyard burger and it was delicious. Came with fries and reasonably priced. We'll decorated atmosphere and great service. Stopped in while on a road trip and took a chance. Glad we did.

Sliders were disgusting.
Fried chicken sandwich tasted like OLD DIRTY fryer oil.. and Margherita Pizza that had olive oil not balsamic and looked like the end of a bag of shredded basil with barely any at all on pizza
Over all waitress was nice but food was GROSS
WE LITERALLY THREW IT AWAY AT GAS STATION ACROSS THE STREET

I have been coming here for years and today I realized that I never left them a review. Shame on me! Plated has been a favorite of mine since it opened. Family owned and operated, the atmosphere is great, the staff is always friendly, and most of all the food is INCREDIBLE. Fairly priced and hearty portions that would allow for most people to bring home leftovers.
They have a generous side room for parties, a patio for outdoor dining during the nicer months, and their bar is just the right amount of fancy without spending a fortune. I cannot say enough about Plated. It’s truly an East Fishkill staple and I hope they stay in business for a long time to come!

I cannot recommend this place enough. I absolutely love the food, the friends I’ve made there mean world’s to me and every time I’ve seen the owner, Justin- he’s always smiling and very positive. Everyone needs to check this place out. I really like it here.

Dropped in with kids for an early dinner.

I ordered the seafood pasta special for $45, and it didn’t meet my expectations. Shrimp was overcooked, mussels were mostly unopened (I wouldn’t have served them), clams were tiny, and it was overall not appealing.

Kids ordered short rib grilled cheese and chicken fingers. Both came with fries. The flavor of short ribs was interesting.

I also ordered their punch, which was okay.

Left some to be desired, for a $100 dinner.

I don't usually write reviews but I can't say enough good things about Plated modern american bistro!! The restaurant had a beautiful vibe to it and the food was delicious with very generous portions! The staff was very friendly and helpful with all of our requests. This is the 3rd time we have eaten here and we will definitely be returning again!

Hello all! I usually never bother signing in and posting a review but wanted to absolutely make it very clear that this restaurant is top shelf no matter what other feed back you see here. If you are looking for great service, food that you will want to come back for and great entertainment this is your go to place. It’s very family oriented and the owners go out of their way to ensure you have the greatest experience. I have eaten there multiple times and I can assure you that every dish was delicious. The service outstanding and oh by the way you can get tap water anytime free of course!!!!
