Great old school Italian deli. I had an amazing Italian sub today and brought home a delicious antipasto for the wife. I will always stop in when I'm in the area.

A great local specialty deli known for their delicious, no-frills sandwiches that always hit the spot. Friendly staff of local guys, fresh Italian ingredients. By far the best deli sandwich in Hopewell Junction. My go-to is the roast beef, but there’s no bad sandwich to be had here.

Their sausage, roast beef (rare) and mozzarella are not only all homemade but you would have a hard time finding better anywhere. Standard line of Boar's Head, too, but their other salads and prepared meals are homemade and very good. Genuine Bronx Italian ingredients, including great bread, fresh daily, are also the standards here that makes this place a cut above the rest. I've been a customer for 15 years.

Always stop at S and J whenever traveling back and forth from Vt.
Hands down the best Italian specialty shop and right off the Taconic Rte 52.
Love to stop in for fresh ravioli, manicotti, bread, sandwiches etc. You can't go wrong here.

Great old school Italian deli. Reminds me the old days when people cared about what they served. So many homemade soups and meals to choose from. Looking foward to trying more of their sandwiches! So far the Philly cheese steak is the best!

I stopped in here today randomly for breakfast. I ordered a bacon, egg and cheese and a coffee. The bacon, egg and cheese was phenomenal. I especially liked the roll, which was noticeably fresher than most delis that I’ve gone to. The coffee wad excellent and I appreciated the person behind the counter put on a fresh pot for me since it was a little bit later in the morning. Looking forward to trying out for lunches sometime in the future.

Killer deli old school mentality. Really gives you that family small business atmosphere. Just look at the breakfast sandwich.
