ordered a sub and large taco salad friday evening to go. the young man working put both in a plastic grocery bag. at home i lifted the salad out of the bag and the container was not snapped closed. the salad fell out of the container onto my living room carpet. i was still holding the container. i called and told the kid what happened and that i wanted it replaced. he said he didnt have the authority to replace it. i told him i didnt drop it, the salad fell out of the container because the container wasnt snapped closed. he said all he could do was take my number and check with the boss.
my husband lost his dinner, i lost my money, and we had a terrible mess to clean off my carpet.
and no follow up from the owner.

The place is still good quality, but the prices jumped like 3 bucks since they moved from Loder St. I paid $9.72 (which is still way too high) for a half sub then. Now on Seneca i go in there and they wanted $12.54 for a HALF sub. That's outrageous and i don't see this place lasting much longer with prices like this. Hell, Subway offers a lunch DEAL with chips and drink for $6.99 why would i go back to Andy's?

I was born and raised in Hornell, and Andy's Sub Shop was something I grew up with. While I no longer live in Hornell, and while it may have changed owners, I can certainly tell you that the food has not changed, and that is a COMPLIMENT coming from me.
Ordered a ham sub today, and when I got home and ate it, it made me remember why I loved Andy's Sub Shop growing up. The meat, veggies, and condiments I got on my sub were fresh, and the sub was so delicious like I remember it. I highly recommend them 1000%. Thank you guys!

We just ordered large taco salads from here for the first time. They are fantastic! You get a huge amount for little price and everything was fresh. Service from person taking phone order to picking up was top notch! Highly recommend and definitely will be making it a regular order! Thanks for all your hard work!!!

Listen the sandwiches are good. But they will ALWAYS get your sandwhich wrong. Every time. I promise. Sometimes twice. LolNow that doesn't mean they aren't good. They are. As long as you don't want exactly whay you ordered.

Stopped here during the eclipse for a quick lunch and we loved these sandwiches! Quality ingredients make all the difference and Andy's understands that. The staff made great conversation with us which i always appreciate and a military discount was a nice cherry on top.
