I work there as a drummer about once a month. We had a gig there last night and it was electric. If you want to have fun it's a great place to go for live music and when the MCU is playing fun is definitely going to happen! Love the place and people.

The Southside is that small neighborhood corner bar you have been looking for! My family came from Hornell and I grew up on stories about The Southside! My mother recently passed and we had a get together for her there. I am a total outsider that got treated like family! Matt is a great guy and does a great job running the place! If you want to see a bar with some real blue collar history go to The Southside! My grandpa would be very proud of the place Matt, thank you!

It took 1 hr and 30 minutes to get our sandwiches tater toots were cold. People around us who were seated at the same time, ate got to gos and left before our food arrived. We were there 2 hrs and 10 mins for a sandwich. Our meal should have been free!
This establishment is absolutely wonderful always. Very hometown atmosphere, mellow and the barmaids are great. I highly recommend this

Very friendly staff and service is excellent.New OTB added is a big plus. Neighborhood bar that a lot of the locals frequent. Definite stop around the holidays.
