A real experience review: We forgot to take a photo before the meal but I had too show it was soo good everyone ate all their food!! We traveled from NYC to the state parks and stopped to eat here 2 days in a row because there were so many options and it was all made fresh to order and flavorful. It genuinely was a full immersive experience as soon as u walk in the door definitely an old school vibe. (Being from NYC i have high expectations and the food exceeded!!)
Because all the focus goes into the history, menu and quality of food along with service. You sit, get a large book that is black and gold with lovely photos of the history and then menu is categorized by meats, veggies, soups, apps etc. You get to choose ur spice level. There were 4 of us we started with the soups and all were gooood! Then we got the tandoori pak2 appetizer for 4ppl and it arrived on a sizzling platter. we ordered nan, roti, 2 bolws of rice and we ate that as our meal and we were fulll. There were 2 large eaters as well lol (it can feed 5 or 6 people with some additional sides)!! It's definitely a place to stop by to have comfort food!! The Best part i fed all these people and it was less that $120.
(In mnanhattan NYC, I would have paid at least $300 for a fancy modern restaurant with not so great food).
In my world, today, we are definitely losing culture. To the owners and staff please know we appreciate this food, quality and care!!!
would definitely plan another trip and make sure to stop here again!!

Amazing food! Delicious flavor profile. Probably the best Indian food I’ve had, as someone native to NYC. Fresh authentic spices used adds to the amazing aroma and taste.

Came here on a whim while hiking through upstate NY (from Philadelphia area). The food here is halal, and is some of the freshest and most flavorful Indian food I've ever had! Would highly recommend this restaurant to anybody wanting a hearty and tasty meal.

Cozy and clean restaurant, welcoming staff. Absolutely delicious food! Naans are phenomenal, we enjoyed lassi (rich yogurt taste) and Tikka masala. Huge portions!

Service was excellent. Food was beyond delicious. So full of flavor and beautiful, fresh ingredients. I have a gluten allergy and the waiter took the time to double check on every item, even coming back with recommendations on what meal I could replace my order with when I ordered something containing gluten. So kind. We will definitely be returning.

I spent 2 weeks in Hyderabad a few years ago and the biryani here reminded me of that trip! Everyone was kind and even though it was busy we had our food quickly. Well worth the drive from Ithaca and we will certainly be back.
