This isn’t just a restaurant, it’s an EXPERIENCE. The place makes you feel like you’ve traveled across the world. Attentive cheerful service, dizzyingly diverse menu, deeply layered absolutely delicious food that tastes like their grandma has been out back fixing traditional home cooking for hours. The flavors are complex, novel, comforting, surprising, and deeply satisfying. Horseheads/Elmira has long been devoid of truly interesting or good quality food. I am giddy with delight to have stumbled across this humble-appearing place off the beaten path in an ugly corner of town. [side note: I am sensitive to gluten and dairy, and was able to selectively eat off this menu without any ill-effects.]

Have to wait so long before you get your food they go in the back as if they're going to get u food then still have to wait another 30 mins

Absolutely excellent! Food is full of flavor. The owner and staff go beyond to make you feel comfortable. The lunch buffet is well worth the price. And they went out of their way to accommodate vegans, verifying every dish. So happy to have this place down the street.

Absolutely delicious food and great service! I can’t believe they’ve only been open a short time, they really have their act together both in the dining room and in the kitchen. The cheese naan was very tasty. The shrimp curry had a really nice flavor. I really liked my chicken noodle dish. And the chicken Manchuria was also a hit. The mango lassi drinks were so good there was none left (and they were really large). We will definitely be back!

Food was flavorful and full of spice and texture. Was more than pleasantly surprised. As for the setting, one can see how much love was given to the building and how much they invested into making the building friendly to all. A great addition to the Southern Tier.

Horrible,overpriced one kofta for $18 on a small dish.As well as horrible service nobody working there no how to smile and have a don’t care attitude.Avoid at all costs

A little disappointing. A $19 buffet should have no trouble keeping food out. But the chafing dishes were empty or nearly empty the whole time we were there. Lentil soup didn’t have a single lentil and was never replenished. Food was tasty but extremely salty. Service was frankly a little surly. No one ever bussed a single plate from our table; we sat there with a stack of dirty dishes. Had to go round up someone to give us the check; no one ever brought it.
