I went inside this place because my son wanted some ice cream. The atmosphere was thick and reminiscent of the Howard Beach where people of color weren’t allowed to set foot in Howard Beach without being chased out. They were four young employees all but avoided talking us. The one that did was short and borderline rude. All that came out his mouth was is there anything else? My son who’s six is social and friendly and he barely engaged him. All my son is wanted to do is say hello and order ice cream. Nothing more nothing less. They were rumors this place aligns with the current political right wing climate but I thought I’ll keep an open mind. $37 3 ice cream cones and 1 cup seems a bit overpriced. Hard pill to swallow after this awkward. I just payed and we ate the ice cream in the car. Lesson learned. I won’t be supporting this business again. I’ll go somewhere where the only color that matters is green. The philosophy that all are welcome is definitely not practiced here.

Never coming back here. The pricing here is ridiculous. I paid upwards $70 for an ice cream cake and it was not a full sheet.
And the normal ice cream price is $9 for a small. You can get a whole pint at that point without the staff giving attitude.
Yeah…never. Go to the other carvels. Much reasonable compared to this one. We used to come here all the time and I don’t know what happened Greed.
Go buy a Martha’s cake instead.
Also I do agree with all the other comments about how the staff give you a look if you are anything but white.

They raised the price of wednesday buy one get one free sundae to $9. Its basically buying full price, such a rip off

This place is disgusting. why are there so many flies in the ice cream??!! i got a cup of 90% ice cream and 10% flies. there are flies on the counter. also the cookie dough bites have mold all over them. it’s unbelievable how this place isn’t shut down.

The ice cream is fine; it's a franchise it's going to taste relatively the same any location you go. The employees chase out non-whites and non-American whites. They stare at you and give disgusted looks as if your presence is lowering their property value. It's ironic, because to me, they are the lower income ones. But, oh well; it's only about 1 min of awkward staredown

came in to buy a cake for my mothers birthday and one lady staff had an attitude & the old man told me to tell my daughter to put the candles back as if i was going to steal the $2 candles. We were debating on which ones to get. I told my daughter to put them back and walked out as i will not support someone who thinks im going to steal from their business especially $2 candles. I told my daughter to put them back before we walked out the store. This is the guy that accused her and he’s on the phone during his work shift.

Not for nothing… but a dead mosquito in the ice cream is a little insane. The scary part is that it was towards the bottom and not just on top. Something needs to be done. Everyone mix your ice cream before attacking it.

Went here to get some ice cream...(specifically the ice cream cake mix that Carvel makes), which this place didn't have... not to mention the LITTLE SMALL SCOOPS the guy gave me & my bf... ??? and having to pay $14 for this?! Nahh... I think I'll go to another Carvel in the future... ?sm
