the food is very good but I see that they have that back from their takeout menu from the way it used to be I usually get a cheeseburger deluxe and the price I never had a problem with it but now I have a problem with it because instead of a whole pickle I get too little pickle wedges I get a little cup of coleslaw and I do not get the sesame bun like I used to the food is still good but the things I just said takes away from it for the price I pay.
Do not dine at this restaurant, as they use boxed potato flakes to prepare their mashed potatoes. In discussing this issue with the manager, she provided false assurance that the potatoes were authentic. I also ordered the stuffed salmon and inquired beforehand about the authenticity of the crab meat, only to discover that it was fake crab meat. Unfortunately, there is no zero-star rating option available for this establishment.
The service is absolutely unprofessional. I called in on Sunday and was provided delivery service without any issues. I called again today and they said it couldn't be delivered. I called back to place an pickup order and she said I can get the delivery now. Worst mistake ever ordering from here. The delivery took 1.5 hrs without a receipt. And didnt call back about the price for my order. She said I ordered a deluxe didn't get any fries but paid 17.00 for broccoli.
Very very unprofessional about not calling back on the price. Wayyyyy overpriced for 3 sandwiches.

Good, basic diner fare with a selection of "fancier" and pricier entrees and drinks.
Vegetarian options: Probably a few items for the vegan, but plenty of items are lacto-ovo vegetarian - or can be made that way.
Parking: The lot is kind of small, but they do have one.
Kid-friendliness: This is a family restaurant. High chairs, kids menu, etc.
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes

Service was excellent, food was good. Prices were astronomical. The evening before we had a gourmet dinner in California for a shade less than a grand slam and a turkey club here.

This is one of my go to diners because it’s next to a few of the stores I frequent. It’s one of my favorite places to stop by for a quick meal. Coffee is always good along with their breakfast options, paninis, wraps and sandwiches. I love getting a window next to the water and watching the boats go by. It’s very relaxing and we’re always able to take our time to eat snd chat, never feeling rushed.

We enjoyed our food, but it was dark in there. Service and food, I recommend. However, ask to sit by the window.

The morning hostess is rude. I sat at an empty booth with my family of 3 and I guess I misunderstood what she said abt sitting at an empty booth. After our menus were given to us by the waiter the hostess decided to move us from the booth in front of everyone, the whole time rolling her eyes. I decided to walk out and go the Esquire diner. Never had this problem before bc I usually don’t do breakfast/brunch at Crossbay diner. We do the later hours. I immediately called the manager from my car. I wanted him to know that if the rule was 4 or more at a booth there should be a sign since the hostess was unable to make that clear to us. All I did was state the facts and kept emotions out of it but that hostess needs retraining. No hate for the diner. My children have been going there since I can remember. And I’m sure they will continue to go. Do better morning hostess!!!
