This restroom greets you with mustard-yellow walls that try to brighten the mood, though the sticky floors briefly distract from what is otherwise a surprisingly spotless environment. Everything from the sink to the toilet is tidy, giving the space a cared-for feeling you don’t always expect in a diner.
The toilet itself wears a crown of paper towels, a makeshift centerpiece that doubles as a backup plan when the dispenser taps out. The soap station was empty, but salvation came in the form of a stylish foam bottle — fragrant, almost spa-like, and completely out of place in this otherwise utilitarian setting. The paper towels? Absolutely top-shelf. None of those flimsy brown squares that just move water around — these absorb, conquer, and deliver.
The sink’s scalding water is a trial by fire, a harsh reminder that comfort is optional, but survival is mandatory.
Verdict: 4 out of 5 Golden Plungers — a very clean restroom with diner charm, elevated by luxury soap and premium paper towels. Sticky floors keep it from perfection, but this one comes highly recommended.
Very nice, small eatery. Our food was delivered quickly and the waitress was very pleasant, quick to refill coffee, etc.
Excellent. They had fried bread dough!!! My Nan used to make that for me when I was a little kid. Haven't had it for 30+ years. Or longer!! Next time I'm in the area it will definitely be a place I'll hit up. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
Breakfast burrito. It's for the mornings that count, that need to be initiated with a swaddle of encased egg and meat. Ginny Rae's delivered with grace.
Staff were crazy friendly and easy to talk to. The whole place is a town meeting hall
Great local food place, staff always welcoming and accommodating.
Great little breakfast location. I can't speak for the other meals as I was there for breakfast but what we had was quite tasty. Staff were pleasant, and served us our meals promptly.
Cute server. Mountain Burger was Awsome!!!!
Went 2 times in last 2 years and service sucks. Food is mid.
Great diner style food. Amazing huge pancakes. Nice triple decker sandwiches. They close early so breakfast or lunch is the time to go.
Restaurantji Recommends
Fastest food I've ever gotten at a restaurant. The reuben was delicious. Also the fact you can mix a lunch item with a breakfast side was awesome. Homefries were amazing.
My mom and I had brunch there and the food was amazing! Huge portion sizes and excellent flavor. Jess our waitress went above and beyond and was so incredibly nice! Every single staff member that walked by our table asked if we needed anything or if they could help in any way. We will definitely be coming back!!
This is my favorite place to get breakfast, the food is always so delicious! I recently had a miserable experience with Seamless/Grub Hub & it was not Ginny Rae's fault but the owner Jesse Sutherland went above & beyond to correct it. I highly recommend Ginny Rae's!!
