Good food, great service, but truly, too expensive. We used to go multiple times per year, but now have cut back to once since good for five people is over $100, plus a tip. We can't justify it for hot dogs, fries and over cooked burgers.
On the hot dog trail. The Texas hot dogs are the best I’ve had in a while. Touch of sweetness and tang. They hit the mark. My daughter raved about the fish and chips. The topper on all this was the fresh squeezed lemonade. Well done.
This is one of the local spots that I always try to hit when I am visiting family in the area. I have been going here since I was little kid and to me it's "local flavor" that you don't find anywhere else. $2 Texashots on Sunday is a deal! It's my favorite hotdog spot in the area, but I sure wish they served hand cut french fries as opposed to those frozen fries. The sign says they are open Thursday to Sunday from 11 to 7.
