This is one of the local spots that I always try to hit when I am visiting family in the area. I have been going here since I was little kid and to me it's "local flavor" that you don't find anywhere else. $2 Texashots on Sunday is a deal! It's my favorite hotdog spot in the area, but I sure wish they served hand cut french fries as opposed to those frozen fries. The sign says they are open Thursday to Sunday from 11 to 7. The street where this is on is a little dicey but for what this place is and considering it was the only local restaurant open on Sunday in this town it was great. Very nice waitress, and the food was good.
Food was DELICIOUS - highly recommend the Burgers and Texas Hots! Car Hops were attentive and patient with us and our two children. Finished everything off with an ice cold Root Beer Float! This place screams authentic 60s drive-in dining.
