I was in the area and I wanted some tacos... I looked no further than this establishment. This place looks like a house and it practically is one. You're greeted upon entering, you give your order at the counter and wait for your food. I wanted to sample their taco meats so I opted for 1x carne asada, 1x lengua, and 1x chicken. While both the lengua and carne asada were decently spiced, I felt like they lack salt and I could tell neither were cooked fresh. The chicken being my personal underdog ended up being my favorite of the 3. The chicken was moist and soft like it was stewed, which it likely was and the juices impart a good flavor on the tortillas. The veg they serve is as fresh as you can ask for really, and their salsa verde/roja taste good and burn you good. Not a bad spot for some quick mexican eats as it is affordable and the people are nice. Tough place for crowds and large orders though I'd imagine.

Hidden gem. Don't let the simple exterior fool you. There is some really good food inside.

Food was great, very authentic. Refried beans were one of the best I've had. Most of the items were a bit too spicy for the little one but otherwise the adults loved it. Was a bit greasy feeling sitting inside though, they need better ventilation inside the restaurant.

This was definitely overpriced for the food, place and service. There were very few vegetarian options, the waiter still confused our order and brought us food with meat even after we told him we were vegetarian. He said he would bring a high chair for my toddler and never did (it was not busy at all, only two tables with customers in total). The food was simple. The quesadilla was a flour tortilla with cheese, nothing really “authentic Mexican” about it. We ended up paying over 60 dollars for food served on plastic plates, and were really unsatisfied with the food, ambiance and the whole experience. Definitely won’t be back. The food wasn’t great and it was expensive, so I wish I had just gone to a nicer restaurant rather than trying this “hole in the wall” type of place. Three stars is very generous.

This is such a homey vibe. They don’t force you to pay or anything. You take your time. I go once a week and they are so nice. Definitely a great spot to stop when you are at the mall.

This is by far my favorite taco place on Long Island. If you want authentic taco, this is the place to go. No hipster stuf is happening here. Real Great Mexican ?

Was in Long Island for the day and was checking for a Mexican place. Read the other reviews and this place did not disappoint.True authentic Mexican food, with a great cook. Only about 5 tables for seating. Flavorful and plentiful for a good price.
