We were advised from our hotel concierge to go to this hotel, he was Colombian and said was just like eating back home. He was correct. We had just come from holidays in Bogota and the food in this restaurant was the exact same and tasted amazing. The portions were also really really big. Staff super friendly. Highly recommend eating here.

Stopped in at this Astoria location... had the shrimp in garlic sauce and it was pretty tasty. Comes with rice, French fries, salad for 20$. It was all fresh and good. The place was busy on a Sunday, but had tables. Friendly service and food came quick. Will come back.

This is a good place to eat typical Colombian plates. They have appetizers, variety and good quality and service. Always a good choice.

This is the second time I dine at Pollo Mario's. The special dish with dark beens, rice and pork meat is highly recommended. Friendly staff. The dish I described above costs about $17.50 and portions are not French style.

You can eat here alone, with friends, and with kids. The food is always fantastic and authentic. Portions are large, we always end up taking food home and it heats up well too. You can get a really large meal for very cheap. The food is typical Colombian comfort food. Staff speaks both English and Spanish. The rotisserie chicken with rice and beans is the most popular dish and it is soooo good! Love the carne encebollado (delicious maduros!) Pollos a la Brasa is my favorite Spanish food restaurant because of the atmosphere, food, and price. You can never go wrong coming here. Oh and a bonus: they are open 24 on Saturdays. Amazing!

We took out of town friends here for a change of pace. I was the only one in the foursome who speaks Spanish. At 1:30 on a Monday they were not mobbed, but busy. We ordered a whole chicken, which was fabulous, along with a variety of side dishes so they could taste everything from arepas to yuca frita. Service was fast food was delicious. Parking, now that's another question...

I was really excited about having the chicken here. My husband and I ordered a whole chicken and an avocado salad. The chicken was dry (even the dark meat portions). The salad was fresh, though was served with a packet of low-fat ranch dressing which was lacking in flavor. We also got an order of sweet plantains which were the only good and tasty part of the whole meal.

I had a great time here yesterday. I came to watch the Copa America game between Colombia and Argentina. I was able to find a single table and had a beefsteak with onions beans and rice followed by a leches flan and Colombian coffee . The restaurant encourages a family friendly atmosphere and excellent customer service. Btw- I am a neutral and not Colombian when it comes to soccer or real football, aka footie

My mouth is watering just by thinking about it! First of all, this place is super easy to get to by train which is a big plus. You can smell the amazing food from the outside. They have authentic latin (Columbian) food. Prices are good, service is really nice and fast, food is delicious and really its just perfect Spanish comfort food. Chicken is crazy good and juicy!

Food and service were terrible! We waited 1.5 hours for our food. Biggest mistake we've made on this trip!
