Food was ok. Not the same as the place on Junction Blvd in Queens. The place is very loud as you can hardly hear anyone at the table talk. Service was great though.

If you want truly authentic Cuban food you have to come here. We’ve been coming here since it opened. We travel from Queens that’s how good this place is.

The place is the definition of consistent. You know you’re getting a great meal and you’re leaving full.

I’m excited for the New Hyde Park location to open.

Thanks Rudy.

Cute Cuban restaurant with a comfortable feel. Solid 4 stars. Would go again.

Dinner was a family affair and the chaos of a random eight person party showing up did not slow them down.

Bread promptly devoured and the plantain chips with garlic sauce also disappeared in moments.

Croquetas were not my favorite, the inner texture always throws me off. Chorizo, beautifully done.

Overall the dinner was a success. The best meal hands down was the smoked porkchops followed by the vaca frita. The fried pork was a bit well done and was the least favorite of all along with the tostones which were too dry to eat. Oxtail was juicy and the deserts were sweet and disappeared faster than I could find out what were. Lechon assada was flavorful. tender, and moist

The hot chocolate dip for the churros was amazing, I'd dip almost anything in that and eat it! Natilla was a sweet custard treat, a real compliment to dinner.

For authentic Cuban cuisine, this is the place to go. Cuban sandwiches, ropa vieja, tostones, fried yuca, moros, steak, seafood, paella, etc.
Rudy (owner) is a gracious host with animated storytelling abilities. The food is delicious and the waitresses were friendly and attentive. We went to this restaurant in Corona Queens but it has closed and I was told that one will be opening in New Hyde Park so there will be two on Long Island.

Service and food was good. I am upset because this establishment is stealing from its patrons. They are still charging a credit card fee of 3%, and to make matters worst they are charging nyc sales tax of 8.865%. Suffolk county sales tax is 8.625%. Where is the enforcement in Huntington for business? This is not the only establishment that is charging surcharges, I wonder if the chamber of commerce is getting a kick back.

This Cuban restaurant isn't just a meal, it's an experience. Stepping inside feels like stepping into a bustling Havana street. The walls are adorned with Cuban scenes, and the tables and chairs transport you straight to a local cafe.

But the real star is the food. Portions are generous, and every entree comes with two sides – and what sides they are! The rice and beans are perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the fried yucca is a revelation, especially with a side of their garlicky sauce (trust me, garlic lovers, ask for it!).

The flavors are as authentic as you'll find outside of Miami. I've even been to Miami for Cuban food, and this place stacks up! (My Cuban friends say it’s authentic!)they used to be in Queens, and I'm excited to try this new location in New Hyde Park.

If you're looking for a fun, flavorful, and authentic Cuban dining experience, look no further!
