My husband and I checked out this place tonight for a date night and it was AMAZING! A small little hidden gem here in Sullivan county! Had the best nachos I’ve ever had along with music to enjoy. They had some performers come in to do an open mic here and it was just such a lovely experience! The staff were so attentive and beyond kind. 10000/10 recommend!

We took a big group to the Tango Cafe for a special occasion and it was wonderful! The food was nicely prepared, staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The patio on a summer day is the place to be! Thank you to Chef Matt, Tory and Maria for helping us celebrate the end of the school year with a great community meal!

A delightful dining experience! The food was flavorful and well prepared, the ambience warm and inviting, and the service was truly outstanding—attentive without being intrusive. A must-visit spot for a memorable meal.

WOW! What a wonderful evening we had at the Tango Cafe this eve! The manager, Sharon, made sure we had a great celebration for our friends’ 50th wedding anniversary! She & the staff moved tables & chairs to give us a more private spot, helped us decorate, and gave us champagne & a dessert to celebrate! Alysia is such a sweet, pleasant & efficient waitress! The new menu & the food is show-stopping! There was a lovely musical duet playing music! We will be back there on a regular basis! Highly recommend!

Cozy and inviting atmosphere, the perfect spot for a laid-back evening with friends or family offering a menu that is wonderfully diverse and affordable—including a thoughtful kids’ menu. Cocktail enthusiasts will also be delighted; the "Dammit’ Janet" is an absolute must-try!
Elegant style, delicious food and the service is impeccable

Sorry to say that it was a pretty awful experience. We went with friends to celebrate my birthday on May 1. Reservations for 5:30. Our drink orders came 1 1/2 hours later and for some of us if we were lucky got dinner at 8:00. Food was cold and had no taste and the birthday girl and another guest didn’t get served their meal. One of the guests told waitress her pasta was cold and nothing was done about it. One guest had to leave at 8 and told us someone would bring home her dinner. She didn’t get what she ordered and it tasted so bad she threw it away. Two guests ordered the mushroom risotto and it was cold and didn’t have any taste
Thanks to my friends for being so loving and going with the flow

Went to the Tango Cafe on Sunday because they advertised Sunday afternoon football. Wanted to watch the Bills play with other fans. When we arrived at 1:00 pm there was not a TV to be seen. We sat at the bar and asked the bartender what happened to the game. She said that they were too busy to set up the 100" screen. We noticed that 2 employees were just standing around so we asked the bartender if she thought they might have time now, to which she responded that she would ask. We had a beer and left without anyone making any effort to get the game. We really wanted to support a local business but we will not be going back. Missed opportunity Tango Cafe. Too bad.
Went to Tango Café at HPAC yesterday after the Fall Festival. The service and food was amazing! Paulette our server was kind and attentive! One of the chefs came out to introduce themselves and see how we were doing. I had the Buffalo Chicken Flatbread! Best I ever had! I went on a limb and tried the Watermelon Jalapeño Maragrita! It definteily had a kick! Didn’t get a picture of the other food but my love had the Tango Burger and chip fries! He really enjoyed it.
Definitely would recommend going. There is a lot more on the menu now and more to be added!

Had dinner there last weekend and was soooo delighted with every aspect. The Black and Blue salad was terrific! I had a side of fries - which were like the portobello of fries... large, beefy, curly fries, so crisp and perfectly done to perfection. A friend had the portobello burger - outrageous! The chef is terrific and the servers are friendly and attentive!
YAY! Will return.

Review of murder mystery themed dinner: Events are always hard to pull off so I was prepared for the evening to have bumps in the road but this was worse than expected. The evening was scheduled for 2 hours, event lasted 3hrs+ because the kitchen just couln‘t get the food out. The event staff went through the trouble of getting dinner orders 3 days before the event. So, it’s not as if time was wasted taking food orders. They knew the orders but couldn’t execute. Woefully understaffed and underprepared. The downtime was not filled w acting or murder mystery fun….it was just boring wait time in between very short “acts” in the murder mystery. People left to go smoke…frankly, some just got tired of waiting and left. After waiting 1hr+ for entrees, the salmon was cold and the beef was lukewarm. Food was generally just under seasoned. At the end, they even ran out of ice cream for the desert which was just roasted apples and was already missing some of the other components. The murder mystery itself was just ok, the plot was weak and there was very little intrigue or mystery.
Open kitchen. Saw my wife’s fried chicken sandwich up in the window before our appetizer. They brought us everything at once. Wife’s chicken was raw in the middle, thank god she cut her sandwich in half. They were very nice and re-made it, giving us half off. My steak salad was gross. Steak tasted like beef jerky, candied nuts and an abnormally sweet balsamic did not work well. Hummus appetizer was bland and resembled baby food. Service was great but honestly the food was scary bad.

Just visited for brunch for the first time. Fantastic experience. Service was great. Chicken with waffles Cobb salad was delicious and we enjoyed the cinnamon rolls. Highly recommend and we will be back!!!!
Decided to try this “hidden gem” tonight for dinner. They seem to be in between cooks or on a consistent rotation of chefs & menus. They were out of essential menu items (steak, mushrooms, almost the entire dessert menu). The bruschetta appetizer looked nothing like the photos online. Same with any of the other menu items we had. The shrimp and grits had a ton of grease on top and around the edges. Super disappointing. Hope this review helps someone looking to go a chance to give this restaurant time to find a new chef/menu

Jonathan and I just enjoyed a delicious skirt steak dinner perfectly cooked and beautifully presented with garlic mashed and broccoli. We had a lovely waitress Paulette who gave us great service! We have always had a soft spot for Hurleyville since we had our beloved Luzon Station there years ago… if you are looking for a place in our beautiful county to have a delicious meal in a lovely setting, go! The new Chef they just hired last week delivered!
