We made reservations Monday for Fridays Music & Dinner. A rep called me back and said we were good to go for 2 people. I showed up tonight 30 minutes early to make sure we were good and was told seats weren't available. As we waited, several more couples came in with the same problem. After a 45 min wait, I decided to leave. Like the airlines, they over book and try to find a seat. This is a piss poor way to run a business.

We were the first to arrive at the restaurant and yet it took over 40 minutes for the zombie waitstaff to bring us the food and drink menus (we asked for them no less than three times). We were completely ignored for the first 15 minutes, even though there was hardly any other patrons. The dish I wanted to order was sold out. On two occasions we were brought beverages or dishes we didn't order (meanwhile one of the dishes we actually ordered took so long that we almost canceled it). The table next to us returned their dish because they found a hair in it. The $15 strawberry mojitos were mediocre. The fried chicken sandwich was basic but OK. The sherbet was a tiny serving scooped by someone who seemed to have never scooped ice cream in their life. To complete the picture, the restaurant has the charm of a big-box store and insists on having bad live music played by a band that should have stayed in retirement.

I’ve had nothing but great experiences at Tango. They have a beautiful atmosphere and their staff are top notch. The food is amazing and cocktails are some of the best I’ve experienced in the Catskills

Tried this new spot with my family and we had a great time. We sat outside and heard some great live music while eating some great food and good drinks. Definitely recommend the grain bowl, artichoke bruschetta and bison burger. Would absolutely go back!

Tango Café has delicious food, friendly staff and is a great place to eat, outdoors or in. I was there recently with several friends before a going to a movie at Hurleyville Performing Arts Center and we all enjoyed sitting outside in a beautiful setting and eating really good food. We were served by a friendly and helpful waitress who made sure we made the movie on time! I am looking forward to going back soon.
