I recently moved into the area and so happy I discovered Coyoles. This throwback of an ice cream store makes main street that much better! The ice cream is amazing. You can tell they use quality ingredients!! Cannot wait to go back!!

The town of islip is your typical Main Street. The best part is the very popular homemade ice cream shop. You name the flavor- they have it. Even mini ice cream Sunday’s. Seating was limited, the staff was friendly and the ice cream delish. ?

Good ice cream with a friendly staff. My son loves the pineapple sorbet here.The soft ice cream doesn't seem to be pumped up with air like some other places.

Wow extremely unpleasant interaction with a girl working here. I’ve gotten the same exact flavor here at this location at least 4-5 times. Today I visited to get the same flavor I always get and then drive home only to realize they gave me the wrong flavor ice cream (completely understandable as it started getting busy when I was there). I didn’t notice before because I had my hands full in a rush and also wanted to enjoy it at home. I called to let them know the error, and the girl on the phone got extremely defensive and threw a fit right away, saying its not possible and that they don’t mistake ice cream flavors. I tried to explain to her the flavor I got today was just a base ice cream, completely different and missing all the fillings/toppings that are always in it, but she wasn’t having it and literally kept interrupting me and not letting me talk, very disrespectful. I told her I can bring the ice cream back the following day and show management (and even offered photos and videos for right now), and she said I’d have to go visit the Bay Shore location (despite having bought it at the Islip location). As someone who is a regular and was literally super nice about the whole thing and very willing to help rectify the error, this level of attitude was uncalled for and a turn off. Mistakes are one thing I understand, but hostility is another thing that just lost me as a customer

The ice cream flavors are amazing! So many choices and the customer service is always great. Definitely recommend the cherry vanilla and their strawberry cheesecake ice cream. their soft serve ice cream is great too.

I ordered a Chocolate malt and a Banana malt and doggie treats. Best malts I ever had. Excellent customer service. Definitely will be going back.
After a bad experience here I choose to come back. I have to say I was presently surprised. I'm not sure if my first experience wad a fluke but I'm happy that my new experience was much better. They redeemed themselves. Their ice cream is delicious and I will be returning.

Ice cream was yummy! And I would say I recommend it except the place needs more help so a possible 4 is now a 3 star review.The line was long even for a Friday night. The poor girl behind the counter was all by herself in the store to serve the entire line. The tables were a mess because prior customers didn't clean after themselves. The owner should hire a second person to help with the line and keep the tables clean.We went in because my husband wanted soft serve. Unfortunately there was a sign that the machine was closed for the winter...it's been Spring for a few weeks. A few kids' ice cream options were also out of stock. We ordered ice cream scoops which were a little soft, as if the freezer wasn't cold enough or the door was opened too long. This all seems like complaints but we enjoyed our ice cream and I would go back except I don't want to clean the table again...
