Definitely an old school feel to it! I was looking for a deli nearby that had good ratings. Came across this gem! I was going to get my 'go to' tuna sandwich however, a regular came in and asked the woman behind the counter what she recently recommended to him. She stated the Chicken Chedder Bacon Ranch wrap with all the stops. It sounded so good I had to get it. I was not disappointed! They even sold old school root beer hard candies I got a few of them to share. And they have dinner specials you can't pass up to order by 10am. I will post that pic of the generous options. The only thing I could say is you don't get a side salad. I would have liked to try but I understand with this economy nowadays. I definitely will be popping in again. The workers were so welcoming and friendly! The counter person put a menu in case I wanted for next time. Even the guy that was stocking the drinks said if I was in his way to grab something let him know. Its in a quaint little area off of Main St. And another perk its near the beautiful lake park on Main St. Thank you for your friendliness and kindness! It goes a long way. š

Stopped in for breakfast for first time sandwiches were great excellent service can tell its a neighborhood gem. Have know john the owner previously owned one of the more popular bagel stores in nassau county and has now brought his expertise to the deli side.

I've been once before, wasn't as good as the first time. Also, I don't remember them having their pro-police sign up in the window last time, and had I gone in person and seen it instead of ordering over the phone I probably would have just skipped it all together. It's a decent deli, no better or worse than the other dozens on LI. I won't be back, but that's because it's out of the way for me, on top of not wanting to support someone with that signage in the window. If it doesn't bother you and you're in the Islip area, the sandwiches are decent, albeit a bit expensive for the quality.

A landmark in Islip! New owner John and staff are awesome. Kleibers Deli has improved in so many ways but still has that down home country charm. The food is amazing!! So happy to have them so close to home. Love walking there for breakfast with my dogs who are always welcome and treated to some bacon every time we go. From small snacks, sandwiches to catering Kleibers is a hidden gem youāll definitely want to try!!

Iāve lived on Long Island my entire life for over 50 years now so I know what a traditional Long Island deli is supposed to be.
This fits the bill and every single way thereās a lot of delis out there that have come and go over the years, but this deli is truly amazing delicious egg sandwiches, home fries the way theyāre supposed to be cooked. It tasted like 1980 all over again. it was so amazing. This place is fabulous.
