My GO-TO for a quick, healthy, delicious bite to eat! I really enjoy the salads here. They're so filling and full of fresh ingredients. I especially like to get extra chicken on my salads since it's usually cooked perfectly -- full of flavor and very tender. The hummus here is also super tasty and fresh. I've tried a few different pasta dishes here too and feel that they are pretty bland. Most of the employees are so nice and warm! Only complaint is one of the new young girls that started working here doesn't really know what she's doing, often makes mistakes, and is unprofessional. Definitely try to avoid her whenever I go here.

Went in with high hopes as I've heard good things! I have severe dairy allergies and was still brought out my chicken pita with dairy on it. I was told they could make me a new one if I"really needed it". My friend and I both ate chicken pitas and my friend also ordered a greek salad that was inedible. About an hour after our meal my friend and I became extremely sick, vomiting profusely for a while. We called the restaurant and they took down our name and number for the manager to call me back. My friend and I have called back every day since and are consistently told the manager isn't in and he will call us back. We are still waiting for a call and will continue to reach out until we make contact with them. I really wished this place would be good as I love Mediterranean food but it was a HUGE letdown.

Have had 2 very negative experiences here and am honestly afraid to go back. After liking Aladdin's catering, I decided to make a reservation with a group of friends for dinner. When we arrived at the restaurant, we were notified that the restaurant was "closing for the break" but they could seat us anyway. Once seated, we were informed that "they didn't have any food" so our best bet was to have the chef bring out whatever they had and have us pay a flat fee (seems ok, right...?) WRONG! They wanted to charge us $15/person for this already disappointing service...more expensive than most things on their menu! We got up and left. I am still bewildered as to how they did not think to mention the state of their kitchen when we made the reservation... Second, Aladdin's cancelled on my large group order THE DAY OF without explanation. Luckily a local pizza place could take our order. Very frustrating. Not 1 stars because I have enjoyed their catering at other events, but this restaurant seems to be run poorly...

I'm sad to say my expectations were not met after hearing so much about the place. The pitas are lacking because they don't put enough inside of them, making it difficult to leave with a full stomach. Simply walking down the street to Souvlaki House will get you a better deal if you are looking for a quick, filling Greek meal!

First time trying this place and won't be back. Falafel salad: lettuce browning, tomatoes flavorless, falafel dry and, frankly, weird. Greek dressing was fine. Shish kebab pita: boring and bland and served on a cold wheat pita. Hummus appetizer: more of that cold wheat pita, super bland and chunky hummus. note, we didn't order wheat pita, so I'm assuming that's the default. Lastly, there was about half of a raw red onion total, cut in HUGE chunks, between the three dishes - I realize some people like onion, but come on. Anyone who gives this place 4+ stars has never had good Mediterranean good.

IT IS NOT CLOSED I'm not sure why it says it's closed when I've ordered from there twice in the past 2 weeks without any issue. They have delicious food and lovely service, but they are definitely on the pricier end. I almost always order the bistecca with mushroom ravioli with a side of amazing french onion soup. My only issue is that the last time I ordered mushroom ravioli, I received cheese mushroom with ravioli instead of ravioli with mushroom. However, this was likely a simple mix up (I was not able to request to fix it as I ordered it as take out in a rush).
Aladdin has been my favorite Mediterranean restaurant to go to whenever I'm in town. All of their dishes are so delicious. But my fave has always been gallina or bisteca. Healthy foods and you will simply love all of their savory cooking. I definitely recommend this place and I know because I've been going here for many years now. So if you have not been here definitely give it a try and have the culinary experience of your life.

Good Mediterranean food - try the chicken or combo souvlaki (my favorites). As new places come and go (typically due to high rent prices and low demand), Aladdin's has remained as a long-standing (20+ years) staple of collegetown cuisine.

I've eaten here a few times before and I can't say I've ever been impressed. However I ate here recently and couldn't have been more disappointed. We were seated upstairs with nobody else. We then were forgotten about for over 20minutes before we had to go downstairs and ASK to be served. While we were waiting for those 20 minutes though, we saw a waiter come up the bar on the same floor as us and he chugged a beer before before pouring one for a customer and then looked me dead in the eyes and ignored us some more. Once we did finally get our food it was grossly over cooked and was not worth the wait and being ignored by any means. Absolutely horrible.
