Staff was very kind but I wish there was more surveillance over the cat petting room. There were no cameras or staff there to regulate it, allowing young kids with dismissive parents to run around, whip the wand cat toys around and almost hurt the cats and others. The shop was very busy and I don't think it should be up to the baristas to handle these situations, as I'm sure they already have their hands full. Also, the smell in the room was very strong and not enjoyable,...

We enjoyed our sandwiches and watching the kitties in their enclosure! The merch for sale was very cute as well. We unfortunately did not have time to actually go inside the cat area.

There's a few reasons why I love this place.

I love it that cats are getting adopted and finding a good home through the vibe they've created there. When we were looking to adopt kittens this year, we went and met the cats in their two large rooms which were clean, tidy and fun -- the cats seemed relaxed and happy, and we wound up adopting a couple of kittens Through them from Browncoat Cat Rescue (who also deserve 5 stars). So I really dig this service...
