Friendly cafe in downtown with nice decor. good spot for a study session or catching up with friends. I personally find this place has a typical underlying smell which is not of baked goods or coffee beans, and I find it unpleasant. This smell/flavor lingers in the baked goods too, even if in have it next day. Although the texture of their pastries is good, the taste is knocked off by that weird smell/flavor. I hope they find the source and fix it. The coffee was disappointing. It was a bitter flat white, with very foamy milk. The coffee was bad in both taste and texture. The espresso didn't seem to be dialed properly. Would not recommend getting standard espresso drinks. The staff is very polite and service was quick.

Went there with my family and like it so much! Balanced delicious desserts š° especially kinder one!!! Customer service was kind and respectful. We were shocked that the owner is from Uzbekistan šŗšæ as us š„°
The only thing was uncomfortable is space between the entrance and tables. Small space to move around.

Excellent location and hours. Menu okay. Customer service is terrible. I've read a few of the reviews below and unfortunately, I've witnessed the same rudeness, condescension, sneering and sidebar gossip as other patrons. It put a damper on a recent experience there and honestly, I'm considering another coffee spot ( like Gimme Coffee).
How you treat customers on a regular, consistent basis matters. If your hospitality is disingenuous, it'll always show.

Stopped in for a cappuccino at this cute coffee shop right on the commons. My drink was perfectly prepared and hot. Nice atmosphere with people of all ages enjoying drinks and treats.

Bank Coffee has a classy, elegant vibe that fits perfectly with Ithaca. The staff is warm and welcoming, and service was quick. I tried one of their specialty lattesāchocolate orange latte. It was good, though Iāve had better elsewhere. The milk texture could be better. What really stood out was the atmosphere: calm, relaxed, and a great spot to sit for a while. Being right in Downtown makes it an easy place to stop by, and definitely worth a visit for the vibe alone.
