I love it here! It's so cute, and fun with a great atmosphere and the staff are so nice. They have a great standard menu and the specials are delicious, most of the ingredients are locally produced and the jams are made in house. The Thom sandwich is one of my favorites, but you can't go wrong. The desserts are amazing, the coffee is good, and they have awesome glutten free and vegan options. The prices are reasonable, and they pay their staff a living wage (according to the menu.) There can be a wait on busier days but it's worth it! I can't recommend it enough.Vegetarian options: There are several sandwiches made with tofu or without meat. The breakfast menu can be easily ordered without meat. The staff are very nice and happy to suggest alternatives.Parking: There's street parking and several parking garages in the area. Parking is free on weekends and holidays. The garage is a dollar an hour otherwise.

Food was solid! So many locally sourced ingredients. And very reasonable priced. Staff was so so sweet and helpful, on top of refilling coffee, asking how our food was.Dietary restrictions: GF bread! And it was multigrain and delish

We stayed at a nearby and wanted a real hot breakfast not one prepared and set out for everyone. This was not even a block away. We arrived right after they opened at 8:30 am so they were not busy. We were greeted immediately and told to sit where we wanted. Our drink orders were promptly taken. I ordered a latte and it was delicious. For breakfast my husband created a ham & mushroom omelette and I had the Farmhouse breakfast with fried eggs and sausage. The sausage was different I could definitely taste the herbs used, it was good. The breakfast potatoes were cooked just the way I like with skins on and browned. If we return to Ithaca I would definitely return for breakfast but they serve lunch as well.

Had a fantastic experience with Ben from CD. I wanted a lunch catered for my brother’s bachelor party and they came through for us.Ben even went shopping and put together a few special sandwiches that were no longer on the menu.Fantastic customer service and everything was delicious.Thank you Ben and the folks at CD!

If you are visiting Ithaca or are looking for a new place to go, stop here! While you wait for seating you can look at the menu or the specials written on the board. Be sure to check their Instagram to see what is new too! The waiters were quick and accommodating. My husband and I do not eat meat and they were quick to make some suggestions for us as an alternative. You can see the chefs making the food in the back as you wait too! The food came out quickly and was fantastic. Their herbed mayo and jam were incredible- even the scrambled eggs alone were scrumptious. The desert was also amazing- we had a strawberry buttercream cake. The piece was huge! The taste was sweet but not overpowering. I could have eaten the buttercream by itself it was so good. Support the local business when you visit! We cannot wait to go back.Vegetarian options: We were able to sub out meat with other veggie options. They do have a meat alternative, but I did not get that.
