The bagels are expensive but good, the coffee is passable, but the sanitary practices and customer service are lacking.

I waited at the register while an employee, wearing gloves, sat using her phone for about two minutes before another worker came to take my order. I then watched as the same employee, still without changing her gloves, wiped surfaces with a sanitation rag, flipped through a magazine, chatted with coworkers, and continued using her phone all while preparing food.

By the time I left, she had yet to change gloves, handling food for multiple customers after touching various unsanitary surfaces and potentially spreading bleach from the sanitation bucket. Absolutely unacceptable and frankly disgusting.

Slow service. Waited 20+ minutes for a single bagel. Food is good but not worth the wait

Love this place. Repeat customer. Will be coming back. But come on😭. What are we doing here. 15 bucks on breakfast wraps later

Ordered a cappuccino which was completely flat with a thin layer of foam on top (as opposed to properly frothed/steamed). It was also scalding hot (AKA over-steamed) and I burned myself trying to drink it. Got a nova lox bagel ($13) and came out to be $17 after subbing for allergens, making one addition, and tax.

The additional fees for subs seems excessive and borderline exploitive to people who require these accommodations to eat, especially when the sub ingredients are likely basement price/quality (basing this off the tofutti cream cheese, which is terrible), and in consideration to the fact these are NOT additions, but substitutions.

I would say overall maybe try to incorporate allergy friendly ingredients without overpricing for them and train employees to actually
make a drink properly so people are getting
what they pay for instead of a hot
mess (literally). I will say in light of this, the guy who helped me order my food was very easy to talk to and helpful, though he didn’t mention the additional fees for subs.

Dietary restrictions: additional fees for food subs (gluten, dairy/vegan)

Best Bagels in New York.

Wait was so long. If you're too busy, turn people away. I watched people come and go and asked about my order and received no help. It was super crowded as well

If you actually like a good bagel, you won't be tricked by the cute and quaint interior. The bagels are no better than Wegmans. And all the sandwiches are just cheap deli sandwiches with cute names to justify the $13 price.

It's bewildering to see so many 5 star reviews with such sad pictures of bagel sandwiches.

Classic place on the Cornell University campus collegetown area. We had the everything toasted bagels with cream cheese and several choices of pastries. I like that they don’t skimp on the cream cheese. It’s nice that you can sit outside and enjoy your meal while admiring the foliage and people watching.

Parking: You might have to find a side street to park on and walk

Been there thrice have only had the New Yorker - the meat literally melts in your mouth, so I always get double meat.

The last time I went they had matzo ball soup, a bit salty for my taste but it was cold in April and I loved it.

Vegetarian options: Good options and lots of variety, I am not sure if they had eggless options in their dessert.

Dietary restrictions: Plenty of vegetarian, vegan and gluten free option.

Parking: I would using ParkMobile app to find and park and walk a bit.

Kid-friendliness: I did not see high chairs

Wheelchair accessibility: Kind of difficult

Don’t order a simple breakfast sandwich and/or bagel unless you’re willing and able to wait 45 minutes or more for your order.

I placed an in person order at a quarter after noon for a pizza bagel and BEC, at half past we were assured the order would be ready 15-20 minutes after ordering, yet our order was not completed until 12:53p.

The unfortunate part is that I raised the need to leave at 12:50p about 25 minutes after I placed my order, but the staff was unwilling to adjust the order of food preparation and effectively told us ‘too bad’. If the business made it apparent that wait times were nearly 45 minutes, I simply would have ordered food elsewhere. I hope that this experience is not the standard but I wouldn’t be shocked if it were.
