Excellent bagels. Great sandwiches and soups. Large menu (except soups) with cryptic names. Been a regular in this local chain since 1977.

The quality of the food they put out has gone so wildly downhill. I used to order CTB weekly. This is an “open face, scooped, tuna salad bagel + onion & tomato”. Absolute waste of money.

Pretty good place to get a little work done. Tunes are annoying sometimes but otherwise a nice spot.

Fabulous experience! Delicious, nutritious food at reasonable prices. Convenient location right near the Cornell campus. Fast, friendly service. A wide variety of both food items and beverages. A clean, neat store. Highly recommended!

We lived in Ithaca for many years but had not been back in 12 years. One stop that was essential was to Collegetown Bagels. We had to get the stellar Octopus Sandwich (super!) and an Octopus Collegetown bagels T-shirt. Great setting, helpful staff, delicious food and fast service. We will be back sooner, I hope!

Super friendly service and nice ambiance, but the bagels themselves are bone dry and tough. I got a bacon, egg, and cheese, and I think they gave me less than one egg, one strip of bacon, and no cheese.

I would not recommend it.

Loved it, great vegan breakfast sandwhich!

Unfortunately it was a disappointing day experience food-wise. Bagels did not seem fresh. Onions were not fresh. Very little cream cheese (and it was the wrong kind, not what we ordered) or nova lox on a $13 dollar sandwich. Thankfully the staff was kind and voided the order. Hopefully they can fix the food issues.

The CTB at this mall is stingy on filling. Meat and veggies are very thin in there. The East Ithaca area has few breakfast diner options, so this CTB is a local convenience.

A warning if you get takeout:

They have no way of telling you that an item you ordered wasn’t in stock. I stood and waited for 30 minutes after I got the text that my order was ready only for someone to finally, *finally* ask if I needed help. Normally, everything is quick and fast- but ordering online during the lunch rush is a nightmare. You’re better off ordering in, or going somewhere else.

Definitely more heavily trafficked these days, I used to think of this place as a local “hidden gem” compared to the CTB downtown. However this location is still an excellent place to get good food, good drinks, and enjoy the “small town” vibes.
