I've lived in the Ithaca area for 30 years and I can say with confidence that you won't find better tasting pizza in Tompkins county. Ned's Pizzaria is a close 2nd, but due to Francos consistency I would easily rate them #1. If you haven't tried Francos yet, I highly recommend stopping in for a slice. -Be sure to try one that has pesto on it!
I don’t pretend to be a pizza connoisseur but I have eaten pizza all over Italy for the past three summers. The pizza is A+. The cannoli’s were soooooo…. Disappointing. We went to Sicily this past summer so I had high hopes! Soggy, droopy crust and not filled to order. Would not recommend them but would highly recommend the pizza!
Everytime I drive in from Syracuse for a hike, Franco's Pizza is my non-negotiable pit stop! Their Roman style pizza is unlike anything else in the area- crispy, flavorful, generously loaded toppings. The quality is top notch.
