Ordered food on a snowy night. After two and a half hours the food arrived. This was 40+ minutes past their original estimate. On top of this the delivery driver left half the order in the car and drove away. Upon calling to a) get the rest of my food and b) express some of my frustration, I was promptly told to "have some humanity you f***king brat" and then hung up on. Also, the food was alright at best.

We normally like the food at Gateway Barbecue, especially the variety of burgers And the delicious side dishes including the potato salad, Corn on the Cob,and apple slaw. More recently the delivery service switched from Ithaca to go to Grub hub. Tonight our food took an hour and 37 minutes to get here because the driver drove all around College town dropping off food before they got to our house. But worse than that when I called the restaurant to ask politely why it was taking so long the restaurant hung up on me! If you want to get their food You have to walk in there and get it and be prepared for taking a lot of time.

Solid place to stop by for some food for your soul! I've only been here twice but the service has been great both times and the serving sizes are always overwhelmingly large. I ordered the hot dog dish which comes with the garbage platter. The hot dogs were great as expected but I wasn't the biggest fan of the mac and cheese that came with platter.

I'm not typically a fan of barbecue but the Reuben sandwich here was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. The brisket is incredibly tender and juicy and honestly the day after I first tried it I came back and ordered it again. If you're eating in there isn't a ton of seating and it can be slower than some other restaurants but it's definitely worth it. Grubhub also delivers :)

First time there tonight. Brisket sandwich and slaw was melt in your mouth awesome, rib moist and delicious. Great value.
My partner and I just moved to Ithaca and we needed something affordable and good to fill our bellies after unpacking. We stopped by this place after reading reviews and wow I'm so happy we did! First of all, there is free parking in the lot. Second, I ordered the mushroom sandwich/burger and I'm usually not one to be a fan of mushroom burgers but I chose it because I knew it'd be healthier choice and would fill me up. IT WAS DELICIOUS. I'm fully satisfied. The workers there were also very nice. I will definitely come here again :)

Great bbq. This spot is not really for dining in, a mistake I made. The space is small and they're not thoughtful about service. Forgot to bring water. Brought out plates that must have just come out of the dishwasher because they were wet.

Visiting from Syracuse and was craving bbq... best place!! From the outside doesn't look like bbq place at all so I was kinda confused.. reminds me of a deli. I got the pulled pork over French fries and the apple slaw and omg!! Spectacular! My son (15 yo) got chicken tenders n fries n wasn't impressed with the tenders but loved the fries! Wasn't really cheap eats but I wasn't disappointed

Great place tucked away in downtown! Food was fabulous! All 6 of us, 2 adults and 4kids, never stopped eating! Everyone chowed down on some great BBQ, wings and a salad! There's not much room inside but seating outside. It was raining when we were there so we squeezed inside! Staff were super friendly and helpful. Totally recommend this place!

WOW !!!!!!! DEFINITELY THE BEST PLACE FOR BBQ. Hands down the best i loved the food and everyone is so nice. If you have a meat craving definitely go here. you will not be disappointed.
