This is a tough one. There were several things that I really enjoyed and I might even try this place again, but my experience tonight was really bad. I was told that they were busy and that it would take 40 minutes. I showed up 35 minutes later. It ended up taking over an hour to come out. The issue was that there was only one person working there. While I waited, the phone literally rang without interruption. I understood why she didn't want to take more orders, but I wish she would have just taken it off the hook. I finally got my food home. A lot of it was very tasty. Baba ganoush was a nice size with a lovely smoky flavor. The moussaka was listed and priced as an appetizer, but it was an entree sized portion and it tasted really good. The eggplant was soft without being mushy and the seasoning was spot on. The issue here was that it was *extremely* greasy. There must have been a solid quarter inch of orange liquid fat at the bottom of the container. Just based on the apps (and the French fries, which were awesome) this would have been 4-5 stars. What killed it was my gyro. I really, really don't like iceberg lettuce or raw tomatoes so I ordered it with no lettuce or tomatoes. She read the order back to me and I confirmed that I didn't want lettuce or tomatoes. Then, of course, i opened it up and it was absolutely smothered in lettuce and tomatoes. There was so much that I couldn't even pick it apart. It went straight into the trash. I might try this again, but I'll order earlier and doublecheck before leaving.

My overall experience was good. I called ahead and was given a 40 min pick up time but I waited another 10 mins at the restaurant. It was only one lady taking orders and cooking so expect a long wait time.The food itself was great. The Lebanese mix Grill was tasty. The hummus with veggies was yummy. The pita was toasted. Falafel was too dry for me and would not recommend.

Horrible place. It is a scam. It is not a bistro it is a countertop with one woman doing everything. She told me my order was $36, which was high. I asked for a receipt and she said I should have asked her before she scanned my credit card and refused to give me one.. I called the next day to get a receipt and again she refused. It showed up on my credit card as $46. My credit card company is reversing the charge. What a scam. The food was horrible too. Who ever heard of ordering a gyro without a pita. She said the pita is a dollar extra. Also the Mediterranean "super" salad is a fist full of lettuce, a few onions and diced tomatoes for $10. Not an olive in sight! Don't waste your time or money on this place!

i placed my order online and i choose pay cash . The food was good but unfortunately I waited an extra time around an hour to get my order and the price was different when I came to pay added one extra $ than what the price showing online!!

Wonderful food! I grabbed some take out from gateway Mediterranean. Service was great and the staff was so nice. I have a lot of ridiculous allergies and rice is one of them. It did not say in the menu that my Mediterranean shrimp came with rice. But my husband received extra rice and i will know next time to let them know of that allergy.I definitely recommend and will be back. It was so good!

do not order from this place past 5. I understand they are busy, but they lied to me and told me it would be 5 minutes. It took 2 and a half hours!!!! People on the phone are rude and talked over me. i am so angry.

We ordered takeout online, waited 20 minutes, arrived, they had just started prepping our order (no big deal). Waited there for another 45 minutes (stupid, because it wasn't busy). The Greek salad was bad (just a mound of lettuce with a little chopped tomato and feta on top). The gyros were bad (meat had no flavor and was stringy/fatty). The lady working there was very nice but it ends there. Won't be going back.
We ordered Greek salads, fava beans, baba ganoush, falafel, chicken shawarma, kosheri...it was so delicious. The only person working was a capable but harried woman. I wish someone else could have helped her. But our meal was terrific. Thank you!

Delicious Food ! I ordered the mix Lebanese grill and hummus.-Everything was delicious + fresh.-Chicken Kababs were juicy, tender and delicious.-Beef Seekh Kabab had a very delicious and peculiar south east asian flavor to it which I really liked.-Beef Kafta Kababs though flavorful enough were a bit harder for me to chew.The portion sizes are undoubtedly on the smaller side but the delectable taste makes up for them.

I tried Gateway for the first time tonight using Ithaca to go. The food was absolutely delicious. The kibbeh was full of flavor and reminded me of my grandmother's. My husband absolutely loved his beef gyro, and my tawook was excellent. I also ordered the fattoush salad that looks absolutely beautiful but because I already ate too much it will have to be my lunch tomorrow. We will definitely be coming back.
