We experienced too much noise in a door that was closing abruptly every few minutes. We complained and nothing. In addition to that, the food took more than 45 minutes to arrive.
The food was great, very nice workers but my food took 2 hours to arrive. Make sure to make a reservation. Poor service and took way too long. Will not be returning

My wife and I came here for our wedding anniversary after it was highly recommended by multiple people. Unfortunately it was an awful dinner for us. The restaurant was not busy and we waited about 2 hours for our meals. The bread they serve when you get there is cold. When our meals came the noodles were hard and barely cooked. The two chicken dishes we ordered had so much sodium on them they weren't edible. We also got a side order of broccoli rabe and all we tasted was jarred garlic and salt. Lots of salt. Our server was very friendly and accommodating. The special was calamari, and it was very chewy and not fresh for our table. I hope you have a better experience than we did , we really had high hopes of it being great.
Excellent experience.

I'm writing to express our sincerest thanks to the entire Gola team for an unforgettable night. My family and I were at Gola Osteria last night, Saturday, August 16th, to celebrate my mother's 75th birthday.
There were 16 of us, and from start to finish, the experience was absolutely perfect. The food was delicious—one incredible course after another—and the pacing was spot on. We were so impressed with how accommodating and polite the entire staff was.
The Gola team made my mother's birthday celebration a truly special and memorable event. On behalf of the entire family, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Getting in was interesting as we had to navigate a university building but it was kind of fun, reminded me of college. The restaurant is comfortable and feels a little bit like a speakeasy. Lighting is nice and warm, it's not too loud at all and is on the quieter side.
Service was quick, friendly, and very helpful. We had a lot of fun chatting with our server.
The food was EXCELLENT and actually authentic (we've traveled to Italy several times now). The cacio e pepe is very very good. The dessert was amazing as well and very unique. It's rare to find unique desserts at an Italian restaurant in the US so this was a treat.
Overall a great experience. The specials are good too!

We waited for our table at the bar and it was very pleasant. The service during dinner was very attentive and pressure-free. The food was delicious, especially the grilled vegetable platter we ordered to start.
We love Gola. This time we were a little disappointed. We had our best friends with us. It was their 55th wedding anniversary. I mentioned the “Special Occasion “ upon making the reservation and then again to our server while ordering drinks. It's ok that nothing was mentioned or done for our guest, but then why ask of a special occasion? Odd. Secondly the calamari was very fishy and we felt inedible. We sent it back and we were still charged for it. Every restaurant can't be perfect every time but this was our experience last night. We will return. But hopefully better next time.
So happy to have the opportunity to eat dinner here as it has been on my list since the opening. We enjoyed a full course and took our deserts home.

I've been going to Gola even before it was Gola, when it was Renee‘s. I ate dinner there last night and the night before, and I will not go back again until the playlist is changed and the volume of the music is substantially lowered. People sitting next to the speakers, or even near them, find it deafening. We asked the server to lower it three times. The music is most unbecoming for a restaurant the nature of Gola. You're serving sophisticated food with a very unsophisticated audio background; go onto Spotify and look for some contemporary jazz. Mary Kennedy
Excellent experience. The grilled swordfish was firm yet buttery and flaky, perfectly charred. Definitely the highlight of the meal. It looks small in the picture, but it was quite thick and and more than a sufficient portion.

We absolutely love Gola Osteria and travel and hour each way - there and back to dine there.
It would be better if Gola could update their menu online for those of us who need to plan ahead! But we always love Gola
Food and service excellent as always!! Everyone is always wonderful love that everything is made from scratch. Delicious authentic Italian!
