Never misses. Best bread in town. Bahn mi is a family favorite! Generous portions.

PHENOMENAL sandwich. Probably best PoBoy I’ve ever had. I got the Malmo Shrimp (fried shrimp/fries/delicious sauce)
I got a Medium and it was HUGE! Could barely finish. Good thing I don’t live close by because I’d be getting this often…

Flavorful sandwiches. Had eggplant without the blue cheese and seitan Pittsburgh vegan. Fried pickles and mango coconut drink to complete the meal. I could only eat half of the sandwich.

People are nice enough, and you get large portions, but that's about it for the positives.
I got the south of the border sub and my partner got the coconut shrimp rice bowl. It was the most sloppy nasty food I've had in a while. Just absolutely drowned in sauce. The south of the border sub was like eating chicken tuna fish sandwich. Horrible. I tried the rice bowl and it tasted like they dumped a whole cup of vinegar in it. Don't waste your money people, this place used to be good but is straight up gross now.

It's hard to find a local restaurant that care's so much about the quality and originality of their food.

The fact that they make as far as I can tell everything in house is mind blowing to me. We love their bread, but when you want something lighter get it as a salad and boom you have hands down one of the best salads in Ithaca.

Staff, food, and service are all just excellent.

After traveling a few hours I decided to grab a sandwich here for lunch. I got a steak and buffalo sandwich with fries. Got my order quickly and all the waitresses were nice! The meal was well cooked and delicious! I got a small and the portions were big. It was definitely more heavy and comfort type of food. It was a good place to grab a bite to eat after traveling. Try it out!

Gorgers has delicious homemade bread, reasonable prices, and great non-meat options for vegetarians, vegans, and eggplant lovers alike. We tried both the seitan and fried eggplant and loved them both. My one piece of critical feedback (still 5 stars though) is that the bahn mi needed more sriracha and jalapenos. Still delicious though especially if you love hoisin sauce.

I should have gone to Wegmans. There was no line, but don’t let that deceive you. We waited 40 minutes for two sandwiches…that’s what happens when you understaff and have one person dedicated to catering orders, one at the register and making bread, and the other only remaining person for walk-in customers. Food was sub par, fresh baked bread is only tasty when it doesn’t turn soggy right away.

This little dive has some amazing sandwiches! Both the Bahn Mi and chicken/bacon/ranch were fresh and tasty and a good value for the portions - the medium is plenty big.

This is the kind of place you really want to support. The staff was so friendly while working their tails off, and the bahn mi sandwich was truly mind bending. Loaded with flavor. Would drive many miles for that sandwich. This is a can’t miss spot in Ithaca.

This place was delicious! We did a lunch stop here before hitting Buttermilk Falls and really enjoyed it. We tried all their appetizers, they are all very yummy. The food came out very fast which was perfect for the quick stop. All the staff were very friendly and even gave us some donuts on the house. Definitely recommend this pace.

This is a dope little spot right outside the Ithaca Commons. Very reasonable pricing for huge sandwiches. I love their bread. Service is always spot on. The staff have immaculate vibes. Not necessarily a huge space to sit down and eat but they have seating outside.

I used to always get food here when in school. Now I make sure to stop when I visit the area. Definitely recommend

The subs are really good and I can say that for the cost, the amount of stuff they put in the sub is definitely worth it!!
The staff is young and they seem to know what they are doing.
They have some chairs outside which are quite nice but maybe some indoor seating would be a nice add on (I didn't see any but might be mistaken)
All and all a good place to get food while in Ithaca!
PS. The fried pickles are also very good
