The photos made this place look like they had great options. This is more for sandwiches and soups. I wouldn’t run here specifically for their bakery items. We went out of our way to come to a bakery and this is just another poor example of a place called a bakery but focusing on too many other things to take their baking seriously. The cakes looked alright, I came for the linzer cookie. It was overcooked and overly sweet. Sure, I’m spoiled being from an area where you’d find Italian bakeries, Hungarian bakeries, Polish bakeries, Austrian and more. This is a sandwich shop with soups, pantry items, and as an aside they have some desserts and bread. Perhaps their bread is the bigger focus. Don’t bother with the sweets at all.

When I ordered assorted 12 bagels, I expected a real assortment. The bagels were all made of the same dough, the only "assortment" was that 4 had sesame seeds sprinkled and 4 had poppy seeds sprinkled. 4 were plain. My husband said they have garlic, rosemary, and other fancy flavors but they apparently didn't care to give a real assortment.
They charge the same price as Wegmans but at Wegmans, you can get whole grain bagels, pumpernickel, and other fancy flavors including fancy dough.
This was my first time ordering from Ithaca Bakery and I will never again.

The sandwiches we order are fresh but many times I found their bakery items are not fresh. Given that it's specifically a BAKERY, one expects fresh bakery items but you get disappointed. It happened to me twice now that I got cakes from the counter (already prepared ones), they were super bad. This time the frosting on the cake was so hard, you could tell it was about a week old cake just sitting there. And sadly I spent 40$ on that.

Triphammer definitely can use some changes. It's too cold. They added a heater but did nothing due to the doors all leaking the heat out. Nice place, but not up to par. Ithaca bakery can also use customer service training. Some of the demeanor are dry and unpleasant.

Absolutely delicious bagels. I got the ham bagel and it was bussin fr. They were out of plain bagels but they still clutched up with the other kinds. A little touristy but it was hella skibidi 👍🔥🔥💯
