Got the cayuga croissant. It used to be a good meal but now its totally flat. It came with almost no sprouts or mushrooms. The pesto has been replaced for parsley sauce and its an extra 1.75 to sub it with the original pesto,,, Its about a tbsp of sauce! And the avocado has been replaced by a cheapo avocado spread. A ripoff now..Also the vegan lemon bundt cake was hard a rock and cold- you could tellit was made a while ago and frozen/refridgerated.

Ithaca bakery is quite possibly one of my favorites of my hometown. I have gone there for years. I think I was introduced when was 3. Now my children love it whenever we are back in town. If you get a chance, go.

They should consider putting up a sign saying white people only. I was heavily ignored and they couldn’t pause their conversation for me. The only employees that acknowledged me were the two other POCs. When white customers came in after me magically the registers were filled by other white employees. Twice I went up to that counter and twice the older white employee there disappeared.

Ordered 3 sandwiches, 3 pastries and juice/drinks. The sandwiches were fine, albeit a tad small for the price I paid. Understandable given how shrinkflation has taken over everything. The pastries on the other hand were pure GARBAGE. All 3 were DRY (Limoncello Raspberry, Confetti Cake and Bread Pudding). When I asked about how old they were, the lady behind the counter had no idea and asked someone else. The answer I got was "at most 2 days old"; which was most certainly not the case. As a "bakery" I'd expect to get fresher pastries.I'm not sure where they're getting all these glowing reviews from but my experience was certainly far from passable.

Food is always decious. Pricey but fair. Also, it's a really good atmosphere.

This place was located inside an old sketchy worn out 80's or 90's shopping mall but the actual inside of the cafe was clean and well maintained! They had a variety of sandwiches, drinks, and pastries you can order and to go items to pick up! Don't let the outside fool you!

Always come here for lunch when in Ithaca. Great sandwiches, good staff. Sometimes limited parking between 12-1pm. Delicious cookies.

Had the Nova Lox on Garlic bagel (they were out of the everything bagel). Too much onion and only a single slice of smoked salmon (1oz maybe). For a $13 bagel sandwich, I was expecting more.

Consistently good bagels (especially the Rosemary Salt), sweets, cream cheeses and coffee. We've had sandwiches here twice -- once was good and a second time we had the worst reubens we've ever had.Relatively small, cold on the inside and fatty. As far as entree items go, for $10 a sandwitch, there are to many other places to go that have been more consistent in quality.

A great little bakery, stopped in and we tried the cannoli and something else, I can't remember. Both were amazing.

I gave them 4 stars because they are very expensive. But I love this place! The food and coffee is always hot. The coffee is to hot usually lol. They have a good variety. And their pastry is amazing. The staff is always very nice and polite. You get your order in a timely fashion. Just wish they were not so expensive or you could go more often. The mug I wanted was $36. for a 16oz. That's a little to much. But this is a must try!
