Got the buttermilk chicken sandwich, it was basically all breading and no meat. It tastes like charcoal. Very dry sandwich. Ketchup tastes like tomato paste. This place can’t decide to be a bar or restaurant. The music made it hard to hear.

I think this is the best food in Ithaca, easily best food in collegetown - no contest. I eat here almost every week. Taproom burger and fried chicken sandwich are both fantastic. Fried chicken sandwich might be the best I’ve ever had !Two small improvements: fries are almost always too salty and the salad that you can get with your sandwich for $5 is poor quality. For $5 extra I would expect a lot better.

Great food, service, and beer. Affordable prices for beer - as compared to prices in the Boston area.

I really like the place overall. Their buttermilk chicken sandwich is popular. The smashed burger is delicious as well. I like their pizzas too. I would not recommend the grilled cheese and soup. Vegan burger is also okay but a little too dry. Service can be too slow sometimes, and I've had a few instances where something was missing from the order, but not a big deal. It can take some time to get a table during peak hours.

Aside from the ale and cheddar soup to food is terrible. the only thing worse than the food is the abhorrent service. The ambiance is cool. All else is terrible unless you want sip your beer and listen the staff huddle to discuss life as they lean on the counter. They could care less about providing any kind of service other than crap (like the roast beef sandwich) I'd post 1/2 star if it would let me. Avoid this place.

We were visiting the area, returning from hiking and dropped in for lunch. It was a bit out of the way but the food and beer were excellent. Quite a big crowd were seated by the time we were done. The only problem was they didn't have any medium or large t-shirt that we could buy.

Great atmosphere, great menu options including vegan. The beer cheese soup, fries, and beet salad were all excellent . Beers and cocktails were great. Had the apricot beer and Cornell mule

We hired the outdoor tent area for an event and Jackie and her team were amazing! It was the perfect setting for an afternoon of beers and food and all of our guests had a great time.

As a Cornell 2018 grad, I was in town in Feb 2023 for a recruiting event and stumbled upon this new Ithaca Beer Co to grab a quick dinner. The smashburger here is pretty solid and better than any other burger in ctown (I'm looking at you, Jack's Grill). The fries were also decent. The beer selection was plentiful and had anything you could ask for. I really enjoyed the ambiance as well because it felt more spacious and renovated than the previous CTB that occupied here. Service was not half bad also.

Sure, it was a little busy, but I haven't had service that bad in a decade. At least the drinks were bad though.

Had the Taproom Burger. It was good. Decent quality beef with fresh field green. Large amount of fries - deep fried crispy and well seasoned. My husband had a couple cups of beer. Very reasonable price. The buttermilk fried chicken sandwich was also good, but the fries are definitely the best.

Loved this place so much! The patio was packed, so we went inside to sit and eat; had the place to ourselves! Our server was awesome, with great suggestions and friendly banter. With her floor-length braid and easy-going smile and attitude, I felt like she's work there a long time. Our burgers were perfectly seasoned and tasted delicious! It was the perfect ending to a wonderful afternoon visiting the city.

Great lively location, with a lot of options in beers. We all ordered flights and were able to cover all the beers. The flower power is a great sour you ought to try! The white sauce garlic pizza was too greasy for my taste but otherwise, an awesome experience! Definitely worth a visit if you’re on campus!

Pulled into town about 8:40…place was closing at 10 pm. Took 20 minutes to be seated although there was many empty tables. They explained their kitchen was backed up. Food was good. I had the pulled Pork sandwich. Fries were hand cut and plentiful.
