Thanks to Kingston Cuisine, I’ve finally found my go-to spot for authentic, great-tasting Jamaican/American meals.
I ordered the oxtail with rice and peas and fried plantains — and OMG! I could literally taste the life in the food. It felt like the chef cooked that pot with genuine love and Jamaican pride. As a real Jamaican who knows her way around a kitchen, I know good food when I taste it. Everything was perfectly balanced — not overly spicy, just richly flavorful. It had that true, authentic Jamaican taste. Honestly, it tasted like a real homemade Sunday dinner.

The photo on here from a previous review sold me on the oxtail and Mac and cheese. I was not disappointed. A creamy buttery Mac had a lovely combination of spices, and the oxtail was rich, flavorful and fall off the bone soft. They stick to the ribs and feed the soul. Sweet plantains weren’t overly sweet and tasty. The patty had a good kick and had a buttery crust. Pasta Rasta chicken was creamy and rich, and the Jamaican festival were good, like large hush puppies. I just wished I lived closer, so I could come here more.

Delicious food!! We got some take out for dinner and it was fabulous. My toddler even loved the rasta pasta so much and we all know how hard it is to please a toddler 😄

Wanted something different that was near triphammer area. Came across this new gem. The staff was friendly the food and drinks were i ordered the chicken wings, rice w beans and plantain. My husband ordered the jerk chicken with veggies (which was cabbage and he got more it was so good). We ordered the fruity drinks which were delightful.
The only recommendation I have is to have more of Caribbean music to make the atmosphere better while dining.
If you are in the area or want to try something new, I would definitely recommend stopping by and trying them out.

Tucked away in a local plaza off the highway, this little gem is an absolute find. The quality of the food and the exceptional service are remarkable. The warm, welcoming atmosphere made us feel as if we were guests enjoying a home-cooked meal in a close friend’s home. Our meal was delicious and prepared perfectly to our specifications on the mild side. Adding to the charm was the delightful and effervescent owner, who personally checked in on our table. This restaurant is a MUST visit if you are nearby!

I'm from Toronto and really missed Jamaican food, so I was excited to see this place open up. It blew away my expectations—the jerk chicken and oxtail were some of the best food I've eaten in Ithaca in the seven years I've lived here.

The food is so amazing! The steamed cabbage is delicious and not salty. The chicken wings are fried to perfection. The patty isn’t greasy. The Mac n cheese is creamy. The ginger drink is fizzy and delicious. The service is amazing. Everyone is so kind and nice and the food is out of this world. You have to try this place!!!!
