Great local craft brewery. Within easy walking distance of central Ithaca. The brews are delicious and reasonable prices for high quality craft beers. This is a group friendly place with recreational activities like shuffle board and an outside beer garden. There's a food truck selling Hispanic dishes but the group behind us brought their own BBQ

Ithaca Beer Co had a 45 minute wait despite having what looked like a lot of empty seating so we made a bee line to Liquid State. Despite the somewhat strange name, they had some great beers and a nice vibe. It felt like Ithaca Beer Co didn't want our money, so we gladly spent it here.

My wife and I went to Ithaca for a weeklong vacation and stopped in at Liquid State our first day. We ended up going back three times. Please keep in mind that Ithaca is a stones throw away from some incredible wineries and restaurants - Liquid State still had enough pull to bring us back. Their beers are varied in style and all delicious. They also have a food truck partner, Silo, slinging some insane fried chicken, curries, and Mac and cheese. Definitely do not pass Liquid State without stopping in.

Food was very disappointing. About $13- for a personal pizza that wasn't great. They also had tator tots & a Bavarian pretzel on the menu. Eat elsewhere and come here for drinks & to hang out.

Looked fun. We arrived at about 830 with our kids (11 and 16) and found a sign on the door saying 21+ after 730 so we're out of luck.
Obvs their business their choice but want people to be aware of this.
Went back the next day around lunch time and had a flight of beers and then a couple more and a really good lunch at the Silo. Beers were good, staff was really pleasant and helpful, and the food at The Silo was fantastic with tons of vegetarian options too.
I'm glad that we came back even though we missed the first night and would visit again.
