Great local craft brewery. Within easy walking distance of central Ithaca. The brews are delicious and reasonable prices for high quality craft beers. This is a group friendly place with recreational activities like shuffle board and an outside beer garden. There's a food truck selling Hispanic dishes but the group behind us brought their own BBQ
Ithaca Beer Co had a 45 minute wait despite having what looked like a lot of empty seating so we made a bee line to Liquid State. Despite the somewhat strange name, they had some great beers and a nice vibe. It felt like Ithaca Beer Co didn't want our money, so we gladly spent it here.
My wife and I went to Ithaca for a weeklong vacation and stopped in at Liquid State our first day. We ended up going back three times. Please keep in mind that Ithaca is a stones throw away from some incredible wineries and restaurants - Liquid State still had enough pull to bring us back. Their beers are varied in style and all delicious. They also have a food truck partner, Silo, slinging some insane fried chicken, curries, and Mac and cheese. Definitely do not pass Liquid State...
