The waitress and chef who presented each course were very welcoming. Every dish was explained and well crafted. Looking forward to trying this delicious menu again.Vegetarian options: They offered a standard menu and a Vegetarian menu which my wife ordered. Both options were well crafted and delicious.Parking: The area wasn’t very crowded when we went. We found a spot on the street right in front of the restaurant.

From succulent quail served over luscious squash or a dollop of sage ice cream and "coffee cake" croutons, each dish Chef Daniel and his team cooked up was different (but not crazy) and delicious. Our group thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Thank you.

A gem of a find during our getaway to the Finger Lakes Region. Not just a meal, but a dining experience. The restaurant serves dinner on Fri/Sat evenings promptly at 7:00 for up to 14 people. There is a set standard and a set vegetarian menu that changes each month. For the full experience, order each and share with your companion. The food is creative, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. Of the 5 offerings on each menu, there wasn’t a misstep in the bunch. Some of the best food I’ve ever enjoyed. My husband agreed. A “must do” experience in the area. Chef Dan is an incredible talent!

Phenomenal food prepared and presented by Chef Daniel Medina. This private five course dinner is an exquisite alternative to the typical higher-end restaurant meal, at a comparable price. NorthFolk's creative dishes will make your senses soar. A truly memorable experience that redefines having dinner out. Chef Dan is a sweetheart genius who loves sharing his craft and is worthy of a following.

If I could rate this experience higher than 5/5 stars I would. 100000/5!! We came here in Sept 2023 for our anniversary trip and wow, I'm so glad we did!! Highlight of the trip! If you are in or near the Ithaca area, this place is a must go. The chef, Daniel, is so friendly and makes incredible food. I honestly don't have the words to describe it and my pictures definitely don't do it justice. My poor husband doesn't particularly like clams and that was one of the menu items for the night.... My husband practically licked his plate clean. He's a clam lover now thanks to Chef Daniel's culinary magic. Every single dish was amazing.. it's difficult to pick a favorite! I'm still dreaming of the Foie Gras beignets. One of the best things I've ever tasted. The pacing of the dinner was perfect too. Apparently there was some sort of delay in the kitchen at some point but we didn't even notice! With the drink pours and the perfectly portioned plates the whole experience was perfect. To sum it up, people say cooking is an art, and Chef Daniel truly makes you realize just how true that is. Every plate was as beautiful as it was delicious! Cannot recommend this experience enough! If you get the chance, definitely pick North Folk for an amazing tasting menu experience!

We had a wonderful dinner with Daniel at North Folk. It was clear he is passionate about what he does, and that came through in each dish. The zucchini bread with crawfish was especially mind blowing. My only hope is that if we go often enough he'll share his secret ramp location with us. :)

Had the vegetarian option with the wine pairing. Food and wine were great! Service was also excellent! Only place in Ithaca where you will get this experience. The chef came out and explained each dish and it's origins.

Third time visiting here. This place has been my monthly haunt thanks to Chef Dan’s exceptional creativity and passion for inventing new menu each month. For today’s menu: Foie Gras Beignet remains a classic, as great as previous visits. Cured Salmon was a refreshing delight. The Grilled Duck was another highlight, with its unexpected pairing of mushrooms, duck meat and omelet. The steak was also really delicious with special sugar topping, adding a novel taste. Finally, Milk & Honey dessert was definitely my personal favorite!!!! it’s an irresistible combination of milk and honey that manages to strike a perfect balance. Look forward to next month’s menu.

Definitely a great experience even though it was pricy. You should spring for the drink parings. Intimate, fun, local, delicious. Offerings change monthly to reflect the season. I thought the food was much better than FLX Table. The explanations on how local products were used to mimic widely used products like soy sauce or nori were interesting. I would recommend. Top tier in Ithaca.
