Made an online order. The courier lost my food and the store never picked up my call. Waited for more than 1 hour.

It's easy to access and opens early, so it's a great place to enjoy a leisurely morning coffee. Next time, I'd like to try the sandwiches too.

Online listing of hours are completely inaccurate and they will charge you online even while closed. The last two times I’ve ordered pickup and walked to the store just to find it closed, even though online listings claim they’re open 8am-5pm, this isn’t true at all. Also no way to refund money until you find them open again. Food is great, transparency and customer service stinks.

Only thing this place needs is a consistent competent staff. Good luck Ooy's,

Worst food in town. All mainstream crap. The deli that was in there before was always packed. I bought a sandwich and couldn't eat it. Nothing local.

My bestfriend and I found this place on accident. Best accident ever!!! The John breakfast sandwich was delicious, my iced oatmilk latte was even better & the owner served us and he is so nice!!! A quiet, perfect little hole in the wall! Will be returning in the future.

The caprese sandwich is good, but Uber Eats drivers shouldn't have to wait 25 minutes for their order.

I ordered my tea iced and the guy at the counter looked at me like I was crazy. He asked ME how to make it and said it was an “unusual order”. That was very bizarre—clearly they are not really a coffee shop. I’ve been here a few times before and their sandwiches are good, but pricy. There are better places downtown.

We came here as a family of 5 a few weeks ago to grab an early dinner before our son's piano recital nearby. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was calm & quiet, the environment was clean, the the decor was cute/quirky. Our 2 boys felt very special sitting by themselves at the table by the corner window, watching the street traffic. The people working there were so attentive & kind! A bit pricy for us overall, but otherwise a really great place, we hope to come back.

I came in with a friend and she got a 6” meatball sub that was $13 (just the sandwich no side) and a bai water and I got a Philly cheesesteak ‘panini’ that was $15 (again just the sandwich) with a bottle of water. Total our order was $42… on top of that my panini was very thin and served on white bread not panini bread. My friends sandwich came out and the meatballs were still cold not just in the middle but the whole meatball was cold. Granted they offered to make her another one… it shouldn’t have been that way in the first place. While paying my friend pointed out as I was putting my card in the machine we were charged for a sparkling water in place for one of the drinks we ordered… which we never ordered and I was never given the receipt. More than likely will not be returning here in the future. The food looks nothing like the online website menu.

I got an iced latte and a panini and both were very good! Lots of food options, friendly staff, and a nice atmosphere (with free wifi)!

I've been eating at Ooy's for a year now.
I often order the John on gluten free bread and I usually get a Match Madness smoothie. The gluten free bread has always been soft and never had gaping holes like everywhere else. They also haven't charged me for gluten free bread ever, which I wish was a dining standard but oh well.
The food is always spot on for me. The service is always good too! Everyone is soo nice when I come in. They also always recognize me even when I drastically change my appearance.

So here's so problems people have pointed out.
The wait, I personally always go during times that aren't very busy and I don't worry about time often. HOWEVER, many people place their orders on the phone ahead of time so they can do pick up and eat outside.
The newer staff probably feel worse about the wait than you do.

Improper sandwichs: whenever something is lacking, I always go up immediately to alert someone when I'm in a restaurant. I always phrase it like, "this was probably a mistake but the egg on my sandwich is smaller than I'm used to when I get it here" 10/10 times I'm offered a remake or a discount.

Prices: if I could eat at Ooy's everyday I would but I am broke most of the time. However, I understand that the cost is due to the rising cost of living. I would much rather my local barista and cook have a livable wage than anything else. So... if I ever win the lottery, there would be signs and one of them would be eating there constantly.

Dietary restrictions: Gluten free

Went in to grab a quick coffee and breakfast sandwich. Iced coffee was actually really good. The girl taking our order was very friendly. Fell apart from there, we sat outside and waited and had to go back in after 45 minutes and ask about the sandwich, which they forgot to make. 20 more minutes and we were on our way. Sandwich wasn't bad, but it wasn't worth waiting an hour. Not acknowledging the issue on their end was what dropped it to a 2 - just rubbed me the wrong way.
