Such a great choice for the first time. Food was so yummy, shared plates were just perfect. Our server Phil was awesome! Cocktails were impeccable!
We arrived and were immediately seated. We let our waiter know that we had plenty of time and were not in a hurry. We were going to a show at Ithaca State Theatre and gave ourselves ample time because we were not sure how long we would need to have dinner and then walk to the theatre. We have never been to Ithaca. He did not hesitate to let us know that the restaurant has reservations for 115 people before the show and the next seating for our table was in about one hour. He suggested that because we had 2 hours before the show doors opened we could wait at the bar when we were finished with our dinner but, there probably wouldn't be room at the bar. So, he was telling us that we needed to be done at our table within the hour and could not stay there. We ordered and before we knew it our dinner was served but, no appetizer. It came after. We questioned that but, were given a lame excuse saying our bread wasn't ready. As we were eating, we were being watched. Another wait staff joined in and seemed to be hurrying us along. Everyone was very personable and friendly but, we felt like they just wanted us out of there. Sorry but, not our problem that you couldn't handle all the reservations you accepted. The food was VERY good. We got the onion rings and ciabatta bread for appetizers. For dinner, the fish & chips and glazed mushroom burger.
Outside seating was freezing- there should be some kind of heaters or it should be discontinued.
We had dinner there at 5:30 on a Thursday night. Service was a little slow considering the light patronage, but Natasha was friendly. I had the bacon burger and it was good, as were the fries. Hubbie had the HEFEWEIZEN chicken sandwich and a flight of beers and was happy. We had no complaints, but there also wasn't anything to rave about.
Server sat my family of 5 but neglected to tell us the kitchen had just gotten an order of 16 and 18 guests. Would have been 1.5 hours until we ate. Luckily a kind waiter did. We Left.
Disappointing. Service was very slow. Waited for appetizers and drinks for a long while and one of our meals came out 30 min after the other two. Main server was apologetic and comped one of our drinks. Others who delivered food were rude., just dropping food on the table. Overall food was okay. Beet salad was over dressed. Pretzel batons were good and cheese sauce was excellent. Steak was cooked more rare than medium and truffle fries were undercooked and soggy. Brie and chicken sandwich was good although cheese was not melted. Caprese chicken, the very late meal, was tasty, but not overly hot. The restaurant was busy but should have done better.
If you are looking for inflexible service, constant menu items not available well after you order, the strong smell of pot and an expensive meal not worth what it costs, this is your place
We have a reservation here for family weekend and it was very crowded and they were doing great business. Unfortunately, that meant that our food had no flavor and it was overpriced for what we got. Our server Brandon was amazing. He was really hustling. But I don't think I would return.
The food here was great!! The service was also great, we felt so welcomed and like we could make ourselves at home. We also loved the decor and vibe of the place. Music was a bit loud, so a little difficult to have a meeting type lunch, but our server was able to turn it down for us which we greatly appreciated!
The atmosphere and food was outstanding. Looking forward to coming back and trying something new on the menu!

Ehh food, flat beer, delightfully slow service, but with a smile. App arrived after the main and we waited way too long for a beer on a slowish Tuesday night,
Twelve bucks for 6 onion rings, must be an onion shortage.
