I like the Chinese bbq ribs and the nachos are always fire.
This dining hall is smaller , which I like because I can actually find where things are. I appreciate the easy to find trash can.
Good food choices, aesthetic atmosphere.
The only issue is that the desserts are pretty bad. The brownie tasted like dirt and the cake had overly sweet icing. Also lack of ice cream.

The Risley Dining staff are some of the nicest on campus. The themed meals are always really fun and the desserts are probably the best on North Campus. Everything is nut free and gluten free which is great if you or your friends have dietary restrictions.

Must go place for gluten and lactose intolerant. The all you can eat diner offers a variety of starters, salads, soups and main course items. The staff is courteous and will happily take requests. You also get Cornell dairy ice cream(not sure if that was lactose free)
The food was fantastic as always. The wait was a little longer than I'm used to there because it's not self-serve but it wasn't bad at all. Maybe 6-7 minutes to get through the whole time. The only sad part was having to sit at a different table from someone I'm living with.
I am impressed and the social distancing, I felt very comfortable but I'm sure I'm not alone when say I miss the energy. Gary @ the front desk remains outstanding, as do the servers and the food. I was last in Risley March 15 when we were served on paper plates and still trying to figure out how we were going to navigate the pandemic. I was very happy to be back and communicated that to the staff. This was actually my first sit-down experience in any restaurant in over year. Well done, I'll see you again soon!!
Best dining hall of campus for sure. The staff is great and the foods always unique. Somedays the foods a bit niche, so you want to check the menu beforehand, but besides that all around great.
They did not have most of the menu items listed and also did not know what I was talking about when I inquired about a menu item. I had to repeat myself 10 times and they still did not understand. Because I didn't want to hold up the line, I left without getting the entree that I specifically went there for.

Great food, plate disposal is a little more intensive than the other dining halls.
IMO the best on North Campus and one of the best in all of campus. Has less choices but items are better made and tastier.
Risley offres a somewhat sizable arrangement of delicious food! Risley has many great options for vegeterians and vegans; it's also completely nut free. The atmosphere at Risley is that of an elegant, high ceiling, Hogwarts-like, dining hall. I would recommend Risley if you're looking a good feel of Cornell dining halls.
Good food, not a lot of options and you have to clean your own plate. Seating is somewhat limited.
Great for gluten-free.
