My husband and I had the most wonderful experience! When we walked in, we were greeted by the hostess who gave us a warm smile that made us feel as though she was glad that we came. We were instantly charmed by the decor and the overall vibe of the upstairs dining area. Our server, AJ met our every need. She had helpful suggestions that enhanced our experience. She made us feel like we were old friends. We both ordered chicken parmesan with home made linguine that was the perfect al dente!!! We can't wait to dine again!
The food is phenomenal! I highly recommend the steak it was pure perfection.
Nice addition to Cornell food options. Loved Lizzy, our server. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient.
Food was great. Too hungry to add pics!
Ate outside and was too easy to hear neighboring diners. Still a great option!
The food was overly salty, making it difficult to finish and enjoy it.
I have been to Simeon’s multiple times, both for dinner and brunch. Our must order is Lobster Mac & Cheese and Bistro Plateau - the black tiger shrimps were amazing! Steaks and Roasted Salmon were great, too. Rigatoni & Sausage is fine.
Definitely ask about their daily specials - I once had a really good sea bass dish, an awesome pear walnut salad, and a seasonal apple French toast - all no regrets.
The food is absolutely delicious. My partner ordered the steak and couldn’t stop eating, it was that outstanding. The only negative is the chairs are a torture device that left my legs numb for a half hour after. Shorter people might not have issues, but I was very uncomfortable. The food made it worth it though! Crème brûlée was excellent.
The food was so good and the atmosphere was comfortable. We had a wonderful server too! Really loved that this is a sit down place, but still cozy enough to be casual. The food overall was really good, we had a little bit of everything in our group. I had one of the burgers and fries and it was made perfectly for me. The fries were so good too, crispy but soft inside. My dessert was the inside out cannoli and it was amazing. Definitely recommend!!!
Simeon’s American Bistro is a true gem in the heart of Ithaca. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy, upscale atmosphere. The food is nothing short of exceptional — creative yet comforting, with locally sourced ingredients that shine in every dish. I highly recommend the seafood options and their signature cocktails — perfectly balanced and delicious. The service was attentive without being overbearing, and the ambiance made it a perfect spot for both date nights and special dinners with friends. Simeon’s combines quality, flavor, and class — a must-visit if you’re in Ithaca!
Be careful with your credit card at Simeon's. My card was swiped for someone else's bill, which was $100+ more than my bill. Simeon's has not corrected the charge, even after I showed them that the receipt did not contain my signature.
A person who showed me around the region and its forests suggested we have dinner there together and it was perfect

The restaurant is small and intimate with an almost cozy character, but the menu does change from time to time as fresh seasonal items become available. There is a question about whether the price and quality offer a good value for the money, but because the menu is unique to Ithaca, they are able to get away with it.

I had the opportunity to dine here a few months ago and overall I was pretty impressed with my experience. I was here for brunch and the drinks and food were really good. I had the French toast and it was delicious. However, I would like to see the menu have more sweet brunch options in the future.

A few of us stopped in for lunch this past Friday. Our experience was nothing short of phenomenal from start to finish.
The service was impeccable. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations. As for the food, everything was absolutely fabulous. The fresh oysters we fantastic, the Ahi Tuna burger was 10/10 and the homemade desserts were the perfect small-bite amount as an after dinner treat.
I cannot wait for my next visit. Highly recommended!
Parking: An easily accessible parking garage is just up the block.
